You don't think inspiring kids promotes exploration?
It will make those launches a topic at every school in the country, just like it did before. We had plenty of classes and projects related to the previous program. It drove a lot of resources, curriculum and imaginations.

You hit the nail on the head.
Back when I lived in Baltimore they switched to 10/11 digit dialing. After the first month people were screaming bloody murder. It was literally the talk of the town.

    The phone company's answer?
You were supposed to call them BEFORE placing ANY calls to find out if it was regional or local. That and "Count yourself as lucky, some of our customers have $2,000+ phone bills". I'm not kidding! They told me that I shouldn't feel so bad because they were screwing people over worse than me?!

I agree with one of the other posts... get a cell phone (with a flat rate). My bill is the same every month.

This jacket would look great with some moon boots! This is goofy... but any efforts are benifitial, even if they inform you of how not to do things.

Trying not to break your neck/back is good. There are great jackets out there with carbon fiber inserts to protect your back and elbows. They've come up with a goofy answer to the neck issue here and hopefully future development will improve this... a biker just isn't going to wear a marshmellow jacket. And yeah, god that looks like a tumble-oh-matic!

As others have pointed out, you don't want to tumble, you want to slide... leather is your freind.

Yes folks, you are cargo :) The airline buiz is about money, and a wing that gets more miles and moves more stuff makes more of it. Naw, the Germans had us beat, easy.
Reimer and Walter Horten built flying wings for the Nazis.

The main thing that's kept flying wings out of production has been their lack of stability. Todays fly-by-wire systems get around that problem. Check out the X-29 if you want to see some crazy fly-by-wire stuff. Oddly enough, the X-29 was not built for manuvering, but like this boeing wing, for efficiency.

As for the flying wing... Northrup's been doing it for years. Check out the N9-M, YB-49, and recently the B2.
