I had a good laugh while thinking about this. What if the courts decided that information such as, music and movies become free? It's not exactly like all these entertainers will stop entertaining...
Hi thanks for calling Pizza Hut this is Brittany (Spears), can I take your order?
What are they going to do, join the workforce like everyone else? No they will continue to make money making music, doing concerts, making movies, commercials and television shows. People will still pay to go to concerts and movie theatres. Also hopefully this will create better competition, maybe they won't blast us with such shit anymore and expect us to eat it. Oh and the MPAA and the RIAA? F**K EM!
Supposedly, they would be more durable to conditions in space, as well as generate more power at the same cost. Same cost? The kicker is that they're not using gem-quality diamonds.
Diamonds are one of the most plentiful resources on the planet. The only reason why they are worth so much is that a certain company restricts the supply of the certain gem quality diamonds(*KOFF* DeBeers *KOFF*). But imagine that engagement ring...
"Yeah I got my fiancee a two karat diamond ring..." "Oh yeah, well my fiancee's ring is only a 1.5 karat, but doubles as a backup battery for a pda..."
In order to become a great consumer product, it's going to take a while. Someone tell me the last time a great open source app, or any app was ready to go in under a few months. From what I understand is that Agenda isn't building the bulk of the software. Rather it is turning to people, like you and me, and saying 'Oh you'd like that? Well go build it!' But the great thing about that is, if you read the mailing list is some of the great ideas that come up for applications. Although I do think it will be a little time before people start engineering pure palm apps for it, cause so many people are way to excited about a linux os on a PDA.
Whoa I just installed Apache on my PDA man!

I don't regret getting the Agenda VR3, but I do regret getting the developer edition, at the earliest stage. I bought it to support the open source blah, blah blah blah. But I still haven't got it useable, cause 1. I just have the time learn how to get it running, and 2. I don't have the money to buy batteries to keep flashing the unit if I screw up. I haven't found a good tutorial on how to get the developer edition up and running and usable... Hopefully all these issues can be resolved so it will be a no hassle for the consumer edition.
On a side note, I'm sure If I read all my [agenda-user] emails (it takes a long time just to delete them all) then I wouldn't be having this problem, but... no time

In this case it is used to hype this method of programming... Is it truly extreme? My understanding is it is only for small to medium sized projects, that isn't very extreme...

Too bad they couldn't charge $9.95 for commercial or radio-personality free, radio stations. That might be worth it. And make the commute to work so much more enjoyable.
If they charge for the $9.95 they should provide it commerce free. So if Vin Scully says one thing about Oscar Meyer hot dogs, and I do pay for the $9.95 broadcasts, I'm gonna blow up Real Networks...

Dave and Busters is a way the world has turned us from totally geek to totally sheik. Cancel out the carnival games and you've got geek land, bar, food, sci-fi short films, and tons of games...
I like dominating Tekken Tag, it's a Chucky Cheese for adults / geeks, and a great place to find women that like video games, which is pretty much what we are all looking for anyway am I right?

I can understand that Mac OS X might be used by larger companies that can afford the high end Macintosh computers. I can't. So I run Linux on a 686, which by the way I put together for under $300.
So until I can put together a good Mac for under $500 make mine Linux! (Cheesy ass old make mine marvel slogan)

Tecmo Bowl is by far the best football game ever, or Super Tecmo Bowl if you like to throw in a little more strategy 8 Plays instead of four... Tecmo Bowl had Bo Jackson and Lawrence Taylor, Ronnie Lott and Walter Payton... The most dominant digital football players of all time... I'd gladly play any Madden team with STB's AFC all star team...

Under Joe's plan, Americans will stop paying taxes altogether. We
will simply send the military across our northern border every
morning, and beat up the Canadians for their lunch money.
Well I'm going to write him in just for his tax plans... We should up the amount of H1-B visas for his immigration plan too:-)

No matter what the corporations are getting the upper hand...
But who is this really benefitting... That's right the real estate agents... Those evil people... Yeah it's a good thing that I as a soon to be CSCI college grade will be working a back breaking zillion hours a week... That way I won't notice that they disconnected my DSL service from my cardboard box cause I won't be able to keep up with monthly rent payments in the Bay Area... So let's not jump on the foreigners so quickly... Instead let's kill someone from Century 21...

Hey it's you from 2020,
Guess what... There still ain't any flying cars, robot butlers, or food generators. C-ya in another 20. Oh buy the way don't use any Win128 programs... It will send a signal to the Microsoft Terminators to find you...
Talk to you later...
you 20 years from now
P.S. Save your frozen burritos, Coffee Beans and Mountain Dews they're the only currency these days...
But when they create the mp3 cd player or when the regular mp3 players for your stereo get less expensive are you still going to want to buy music CD's or rather a nice little burner(with CD-R's)?
The way I look at it is... Would you buy a piece of software, for example M$ Office deluxe for like 400 bucks when somehow miraculously a burned CD just appeared in your hard drive... Maybe you want your own registered version... (but I doubt it...)
Now on the other hand check this out... Napster Bad... Money Good!!!
Xmen like a lot of other movies looks like it has a lot of potential but they're are a few characters that probably could've been casted in a few others places...
I hope they prove me wrong bit I believe that Wolverine should've been played by someone older, maybe Jack Nicholson... But I guess he's getting too old to jump around the Statue of Liberty
Basically this is a movie that should have been done years ago when the X-men comic book was extremely popular. But I guess using todays special effects, it will require us to bring drool bibs...
Although on a brighter side other than Jean Grey who's a red head... (Use the busty redhead from Snake Eyes) the rest has been casted very well Cyclops looks like Cyclops... Cap Picard is a perfect fit for Chuckie X, and Halle Berry will make a great storm if she can deepen her voice...
Well after reading the reviews it looks like the movie will model the cartoon rather than the books... But I hope it does good... (I'm betting $8) and I will see you at the box office...
All I know is as soon as I get to work, I read all of/. and a majority of the postings looking for a good laugh. So if anything it's killing work time...
I had a good laugh while thinking about this. What if the courts decided that information such as, music and movies become free? It's not exactly like all these entertainers will stop entertaining...
