    I dare say we didn't have a proper summer... and may indeed be having a proper winter.

    I was wondering how they come up with these facts, up in Calgary its been freezing all year, the radio stations even tout it as the city summer forgot! So far winter has been a tonne of snow, wind and freezing temperatures

    The Canadian version of RIAA (CRIA) owes *billions* to various singers for music that was used in greatest hits CDs, or TV ads, but never compensated. You see stealing is a-okay if you are the Masters. But not for us Serfs or Artists... we just get screwed.

    Canadians also pay every time they buy a blank CD or DVD, I guess because the govt assumes you are going to put something illegal on that disc.

    On his website he states that the google car got my wifi mac address, but the google car drove past 2 years ago and I wasnt living there so must be mapping mac to IP as i also changed my wifi router about 3 months ago. Unless the google car has come by again (which i doubt) and if it has then where are my updated streetview pics google!

    The idea is not silly at all. When I did a Networking Fundamentals subject, we used Cisco Packet Tracer to do most of what you mentioned above. Unfortunately, it isn't exactly FOSS.
