    yeah ok...i do admit I am not impervious to it but generally I have piece of mind not to be influenced by it. I prefer to evaluate things myself.

    get f*&ked. I don't want them targetting me and I definately don't want my privacy compromised for it. Advertising doesn't work on me. It usually just makes me not want to buy things.

    our new cyborg overloads. But seriously I don't have a problem with this. Maybe in 100 years we can upload our brain to memory along with a coding of our dna. Then we could be sent through space for 1000 years. When you get there grow a new body and upload your brain. Nice. I for one want a super powerful crushing arm.

    What sort of economic aid does the US give to Australia. Military aid? I don't think so. Anyway my point is that by not changing they are restricting economies of other countries which in this time of world trade directly affects the US economy.

    true but the US government could make it policy to switch. If all US agencies switched that would be a fairly big incentive for others to do the same.

    But it is time for the US to think of more than just itself. This is not 19th century when you could be isolationist. It has to realise it is the leader of the world (consumer wise). Just because it not running out doesn't mean it shouldn't switch.. 1 billion addres isn't that much.

    Something like the Jihad against human thinking machines that happened in Dune will happen. Society would collapse if 50% is unemployed. Who would buy all the products produced by the robots. There would definately be revolution or something. When large bodies of people have nothing to do all day, its enevitable.

    I know its not totally geeky but does any one know when the Goodguys car show is in Ohio. Can't remember where but it is the biggest custom car show in the world and I am keen to see it.

    I think Lake Baikal in Russia is the largest body of fresh water. ITs damn deep. I heard that pretty recently in Lonely Planet so I think its correct.

    What is with people these days. The world is not a worse place than it was 20 years ago. All the same things happened. Its just that they are more widely reported. Instead of using systems like this people should be training their children to use common sense. I never had a problem when I was young and I walked 1km to and from school from when I was 6 years old. I used things like safety in numbers, sticking to main roads etc.

    Sorry but they have the best beer in the world(as weel as the czechs and belgians). ANd there cars are way better than anything else. HAve you every driven a BMW/Mercedes/Audi. I mean a proper german built one. German equipment is always the best. I do agree with you on Jagermeister - that stuff is horrid!

    Makes me wish I had kept my lego. THis models are seriously sweet as. THey look like they are proper kits. I have to say though he must of spent some serious cash on these lego its really cheap. Might have to go buy some lego, I used to love and now I am no longer a too cool for school teenager (havn't been for a while) I could probably give it ago. Wonder if I still have the skills?
