    For those who did not know: iPhones sales account for 60% of Apple revenue, and 80% of Apple profit. As iPhones go, so goes Apple. Everything else is nearly irrelevant.

    What if Android is overtaking iOS in phones, in the same way that Windows overtook MacOS in PCs? For those who don't remember: Apple nearly went bankrupt in the 1990s.

    Apple had the same philosophy with PCs in the 1990s that Apple has now with smart phones: super high margins, everything proprietary. Apple expects to be worshiped to the point that Apple does not need to have a better value.

    From what I have been reading, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge beats the iPhone in several respects.

    It is my understand that Samsung beat Apple to the punch in the following:

    higher resolution camera
    heart rate monitor
    big display
    amoled display
    water resistant
    wireless charging
    1080p display
    answer by waving
    wirelessly sharing photos
    controlling

    I bought a Samsung Chromebook for $150. I am happy with it. Inexpensive, no fuss, fast boot, battery lasts all day and then some.

    I could run Linux on it, but I am happy with it the way it is.

    Straw man much? I never said anything of the sort.

    My point is: high levels of CO2, of themselves, hardly insure healthy plant life. There are also matters of temperature, humidity, and the like.

    In fact, the entire argument that higher levels of CO2 being good for plants is a straw man argument. Nobody thinks that higher CO2 levels, of themselves, are harmful to plants. The problem is that high levels of CO2 causes a greenhouse effect, which raises global temperatures, which throws the entire climate off balance. This causes unexpected freezes, hurricanes, floods, and droughts.

    Why don't plants grow on Venus? Loads of CO2, right?

    Aside from CO2, plants also need a certain amount of humidity, not too much, not too little.

    Plants also need the correct temperature, not too hot, not too cold.

    Then there is the matter of wind.

    Rapid global warming, and rapid climate change, is not good for crops, far from it. Ask the California farmers who fought the recent drought. An overnight freeze can ruin tons of crops.

    If prisons really pay $5 million per religious, it would sure save taxpayers a lot of money.

    This information seems to be presented in a deliberately misleading way. We should not be surprised that so many posters here have completely misunderstood the results of the study.

    This study does not say that butter, saturated fats, triglycerides, or cholesterol have been proved healthy. Far from it.

    Rather, this study seems to indicate that linoleic acid is so horribly unhealthy that it compares to butter.

    Furthermore, linoleic acid is *not* commonly used in margarine. Direct quote from the post: "the vegetable oils mentioned in the article are not necessarily the most commonly used (which are oils made of olive, sunflower, coconut, and palm)."
