> basically the law says you don't need peoples consent to take their photos. you can take their photos on the streets and in public areas.
I am not sure if that's true.
Years ago, I took some undergraduate law classes. According to what I was taught at the time: "if it's public, you can't call it private." Anything out the public was fair game.
Today, I think there are laws about photographing police, even laws about photographing national monuments.
I got the Samsung 11" chromebook on sale for $150.
It's great for what it is: an inexpensive device with a decent sized screen, full KB, and fast bootup. Unlike windows, it does not get easily infected.
Once Red Hat decides that two different package management strategies are impractical, you can be sure that systemd will be made to no longer accept the Debian method.
> Right wingers seem to see this as some vast conspiracy where she was intentionally trying to hide documents.
I am no right winger, but obviously Hillary was trying to hide embarrassing, or incriminating documents.
> I think she was just lazy. She had an email address that worked and it would have been a pain in the ass to her to use something different.
What total bullshit. If she was just lazy she would have used the email account she was given, and not have gone though the trouble of having a secret email server built.
When I heard about devuan, I thought I would install debian 7.6, then upgrade to devuan when systemd/debian 8 came out.
Debian is much worse than I remember. Debian used to have the best package management in the business, not anymore.
I cannot install plex, kodi, or mediabrowser, on debian 7.6. As I understand it, all of those install easily on Ubuntu.
This makes me wonder about how well package management will work with devuan. I am beginning to suspect that anything that does not have systemd will not install packages very well. I suspect this may even affect FreeBSD ports.

No, but I don't see the point of such a high res screen, on a device with such limited use.

But I cannot see a chromebook being worth $1000.
Apple watch technology has been around for years, if not decades.

They can feel abused. Who cares?

> the huge hate fest going on
What bullshit. If a repub had done something like this, you would be the first to hang him/her.
But when it's a dem you want to dismiss it as a "hate fest."
Grow up and learn that both parties are shit.
Put another way: she is hoping to that her "gotcha" email is not found.
Why else would she fraudulent send emails the way she did?
Smart watches have been around for years. Another product for Apple to copy, and then claim to have invented.
Nothing really new, and useful, about the new mac book either.
Not really. It does not work unless you have an iPhone. The iPhone is the real computer.
I think MS Surface is also product placed in "The Dome"
I don't think ISIS much cares if they damage a piece.
India is not being criticized for having criminals - all nations have criminals.
India's politicians are being criticized for trying to censor this movie.

Nearly 25% of men in 6 countries admit raping a woman. 41% in Papua New Guinea.

Typical childish emotional response. Systemd advocates cannot use logic.
> whats the best ubuntu fork that will support the "old" init.d system?
There is "Devuan."
Devuan is a Debian fork, not an Ubuntu fork.
I used to love debian.
When I heard about devuan, I thought I would install debian 7.6, then upgrade to devuan when systemd/debian 8 came out.

ISIS behaves exactly as Muhammad did, and exactly as Muhammad instructed his followers to behave.
If you don't know that, then you don't know the history of Islam, or the teachings of Islam.
ISIS was inevitable.
Time for the west to pull it's head out of it's ass and see Islam for it is.
Figures the PC pussies would label it a "troll."
> ISIS is dumb.
The PC pussies in the west are even dumber, much dumber.
Listen to the pop-media blame the UK for Jihadi John.
Listen to the pop-media blame Israel for defending itself against terrorist savages like Hamas.
Islam is right: the west is led by brain-dead pussies.
Very different situation.
There is no emperor that sign a peace treaty, and have everybody lay down arms.
Also, in WWII we did not have millions of Nazis living in our neighborhoods.
Also, in WWII we were not fighting a war of insurrection against religious loons who have been doing this stuff for 1500 years.
