  1. Freedom of information access on Google Releases Info On 2.4 Million 'Right To Be Forgotten' Requests (engadget.com) · · Score: 0

I feel that this is similar to file sharing, torrent etc or whatever way, that is a basic property of the free internet (except child abuse, which is a universal crime). Removing references to information by a monopolist search engine seems violating the philosophy of internet. (also like the fcc's net neutrality attack).

If someone is interested in keeping windows, he should run windows in a virtualization environment, pretty easy. Linux doesn't have to play the catchup, it is already superior to Win. The message should go to the developer to support multiple OS'es. Actually Java is already there, but believe that it is in both the developer and OS vendor's benefit to not have cross platform apps. Pure capitalizm and profits. IOS as an example.

In other words, Clinton denied that he had ever contacted Lewinsky's "genitalia, anus, groin, breast, inner thigh, or buttocks", and effectively claimed that the agreed-upon definition of "sexual relations" included giving oral sex but excluded receiving oral sex. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...

They have the same performance, even the EV has slightly better performance, no noise, no vibration, no stupid failing mechanical parts or failing gaskets, rotting hoses, oil leaks, no visit to the gas station with tons of taxes on fuel, rest of it funding world wars, literally killing people. I havent been able to really go and drive my petrol car for months now. Future is already here, just live with regular charging.

After years of C64 with casette and then a 5.25floppy, with an add on cartridge to freeze games to edit hex numbers to try to find and edit the number of gold I had in the game, I still remember the amusement I had when I saw a 80286 Packard Bell PC of my cousin with a harddrive and loading a game called "Flight Simulator" :) with a few blinks of a yellow light on its case. When it accessed harddrive it made few low pitched sounds, like magic! And I said WOOOW !!! After a year of asking my dad bought me a PC, a 80386DX40, 2MB ram, 64KB cache, WOOOOW. I would die for it, And I remember when I paid a lot for a magazines first issue, "Boot" magazine. And my first 3dfx card for 300bucks. The excitement of each generation of hardware and software was like going to another galaxy. Now I have some employees, early 20's. Their games like outrage etc dont look any more improved than 10 or 15 years ago. I feel they missed the best years of computer and software evolution.

This absolutely seems to be a Microsoft-Intel marketing position making, after people were annoyed at their monopolistic move announced a few days ago. Mic cannot sell their new OS's if gamers don't have to so they need to make them or others need to. We really don't care unless Intel and AMD takes Microsoft position and don't let other OS's access the new features. And since there is even more money on the other side (Apple>>Microsoft), I dont believe it can happen even if they originally intend to.

You hit me in the heart :) I know the cables marketing is just a scam but I had to buy some not so cheap ones just that my car audio installer is not going to blame it to cables if they cant make the setup. At least they are brightly colored so would look better, I keep saying to myself ! I tested myself for an uncompressed and a 192bit mp3 blindly and could tell the difference, but honestly I hardly could do it and do not really think it is of any importance. If you have a sickness like me to accept the hassle thay you must have the lossless original, then get that one, other than that mp3's are just fine. It is most of the time what you listen to than the scarcely appreciable quality differences.
