Dumbass? Are you saying that I lied or haven't tried? And I quote from DOSBox: Even though some high-end 486 and Pentium games work now, the current cpu emulation speed probably won't let you run them at decent speeds.
My PC is old? It's a 800MHZ 3 year old Dell. I haven't switched because a) Windows 2000 won't play my games and b) Windows XP has that Product Activation.
I use an X10 8 in 1 Learning remote. Yeah Yeah I know people hate X10, but this remote handles whatever device I throw at it. It also controls my two X10 modules.
Well yeah. Safer work conditions, are good, one of the things I commend the unions, early unions for doing and doing right. A living wage? Well maybe at first yeah, but at what points does livable become "an increase just to have an increase?" It's beacause of the increased wages that companies can't compete. Sure countries that subsidize their steel markets heavily contribute but every part of the equation has to be looked at.
A pension for old age? I guess that's good. But the increase in wages should have allowed the workers to save and fund their own pensions.
Well the post I was replying to was somehow trying to state that Windows XP fits on one disk while Redhat takes 5. And it takes 5 because it has more than just a kernel and a window manager.
How is prosecuting those that are doing something illegal, bad?
Or my fave pet peeve . . . PIN number.
It's quicker and less prone to mis-labeling and crap like that.
But you DON'T own the music, you own a license to it.
That's all well and good. But I still have the Windows 98 CDs, and will install that on all new machiens when I upgrade.

The EU. You can't call it Paramesan cheese unless it's made in Parma Italy, as well.

OS X runs on Macs.
True. But feeding chickens dead cows, and then scraping the chicken shit up and feedign THAT to cows is still legal.

Either a) Oil would be 10 cents a gallon and democracy would be everywhere in the MidEast. b) There'd be chaos everywhere.
I vote that the word be EnronNed.
I can't wait til emerge gets ported.
Oh wait.

Ask the Steel Workers Union how well being the Union worked for them.
Nothing really.
I pay 60 bucks a month for two land lines and I recieve probably 120 calls a month. You do the math. I'm already paying.

If Windows included all the source to ALL the programs that it installed and/or recommended, I doubt 5 discs would even start.
Whats the count of deer killed by cars accidentally? How about deer killed by hunters intentionally?
Deer are far from endangered.
I'm downloading the ISO now. (That will be like a 27 hour download) and I'll test it out.
Which is all well and good for you and me, but like I said, it's a theory when it comes to the average Tivo buyer.
