  1. Because people are being born, and dying, every minute.

At least you have judicial oversight, though. Look at the UK. 40 agencies dipping into your web browsing any time they like, for any reason. China would be well jelly.

Bla bla, more people choke on fucking pen caps. Golf clap for the perpetually fearful such as you. Terrorists only exist because people who are cowed by them like you exist.

  5. This is what good communicators do. You have to because most people can't understand those big words you like so much.

If you want a president that uses big words and logic, take the vote away from everyone except white landowners. There has been a clear trend towards anti-intellectualism in place since the scum of the earth and the women (who think with their big dumb hearts) were given the vote.

Impressive distance covered here. All the way from "decent observation" to "I'm a cunt"

  6. Unless le Carre writes books about a dog called "Ben" with waterproof chewable pages, I doubt if Trump has read any.

I really hope this is true. It gladdens me to think that there are still people out there who are this mental.

  21. Here in Chicago I have read stories about local welfare recipients who have raised entire families on the taxpayer's dime. Subsidized housing, food assistance, power/gas assistance, childcare assistance, subsidized health insurance, subsidized transportation, subsidized Internet, free cellphones. All of life's needs are taken care of so long as you vote Democrat and the Democrats are able to continue borrowing money.

The scary thing is I know people that refuse to believe that some will choose public assistance over working a job. Of course the people I know like that don't live anywhere near areas with high numbers of people on assistance. If your choice is between a minimum wage job for eight hours a day plus travel time or chilling at home all day and collecting a check, some people will take the check.

You should link some of that, sounds interesting.

  22. I smell a win-win.

The perception that somebody is getting some kind of 'hand out' will always go down like a fart in a space suit on slashdot. These are of course usually guys who credit themselves with everything beneficial in their lives.

UBI will be a very, very tough sell in the US. Almost certainly won't ever happen. Even if you have 40% unemployment because of robots or something, you still won't budge.

But it's great to have strong convictions, even when they fly in the face of the evidence. If the world isn't how you'd like it to be, just loudly proclaim that it is and get on with it.
