If your Dog eats your Television - ok a bit of a stetch, or your kid puts a football through the LCD screen, does that give you the right to go out to the local 3 finger discount to replace it?
you insensitive clod.
I only have 4Gb on my machine.
I have records dating back to the purchasing of 256 mb thumb drives for about which made my 16gb thumb drive worth about $8,000.00.

hmm either way, I am sure that.iso is more of a standard for creating DVD installations disks then img
Ok, but that doesn't explain why companies like Create dropped support for older products and created new ones to sell to the unsuspecting public. i.e. no drivers for the webcam (ironically?) called Vista to work under Vista but sure enough new MSVista compatible webcams came out shortly after.
Clearly they had access to the code base, but they chose to sell another product rather than support existing customers.
Wouldn't Hemp be more profitable - as by competing in 3 industry sectors it is more useful then any one of the other 3.
Therefore why for instance wouldn't the tobacco lobby support pot and make it into a viable consumer product?
Speaking as a software developer, the transition from XP to Vista in a fairly hefty VB6 application, (don't ask), was fairly easy. We came a cross a few bugs, mostly with controls that had been upgraded to a new version in Vista. By supplying the needed ocx in the application folder and registering it we overcame those issues. Ultimately we will do a rewrite with newer tools, but Vista did NOT make that an imperative.
"well, n n00bs who don't know jack about anything downloaded Firefox" on the say so of their nerdy friends.
Telling someone that a "product is crap and you would be stupid to use it" isn't forcing?
Maybe they have paid off the mortgage, their kids have finished school and they have spent the last 7 years being turned down for asking for a senior engineer rate of pay. They are now willing to take the entry level job to put food on the table.

If the main reason they don't get jobs is that they don't have current experience. This may be the only chance they have to get experience in .
Don't even try installing Ubuntu with a Nvidia 8800GT Ultra. (at least in November 2007, when I could not even get the installer to display).
I had to physically change the video card to do the install.
So yep, I can come up with an example just like everyone else can. Facts are facts, any operating system can't know every hardware configuration, and you are going to have to install drivers.
Apples do have the added benefit of knowing the hardware configuration it is going to install to, so yes it does just work. (but that is cheating I reckon).
Who made the Queen the final arbitor of English? - that's right, the Queen. Sounds like earlier comments about Microsoft's analysis on their own operating system. BTW your use of such terms is unappreciated in adult conversation.
Except that list of phone numbers, I think they could call it something like "Whitepages", doesn't contain the sex, age and name of my children. Information which I hope I can teach them not to supply to strangers on MySpace etc....
You mean like OSX 10.0 (March 2001) and 10.1 (September 2001) - that's what? Six Months? 10.3 in Aug 2002 - what, only 11 months from last "Major Release". Not even considered a patch.
So let's look at that (patches or updates, as they are called at Apple) 10.0.1 April 2001 10.0.2, 10.0.3 in May and 10.0.4 in June.
What about Linux (let use the often sited Ubuntu as example) Ubuntu
Hello, We are talking about the latest versions of Apple software, you are talking about 2 previous version of Visual Studio.Net. Had you read on on your link you might have noticed:
Microsoft released Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1 and the beta of the Visual Studio 2005 SP1 Update for Windows Vista. For more information, see Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1. To submit feedback on the Visual Studio on Windows Vista issue lists, or to report new issues, please visit Microsoft Connect.
Tried to follow the links to the report to see what the fuss was about. First I was told I had to register for Free. I did that then clicked on the report - only to be told I had to subscribe. Not going to happen.
For obvious reasons I will leave it to the reader to decide if they want to go and have a look, no links will be provided.
You clearly have never driven a Hyundai i30.

I did download this - ubuntu-7.10-desktop-i386.iso, but it didn't work on my DELL XPS720 as it didn't like the video card (Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX).
So that consumers have some level of certainty that the product they are downloading is the real thing?
Chrome does not support Silverlight. The page is using Silverlight from what I saw.
yes I tried Chrome first.

Being a little dogmatic aren't we? Hey, speaking of which didn't Obelix eat pigs (wild boar) and he too had a Dogmatix.

Please name the six versions.

No.
at $18.95 AUD, 1Gb is not a lot at all. I can take my family of 4 to McDonald's for that (not that I would).
In fact I noted yesterday that Lamb in Sydney is up to $36.00 a Kilo so Maybe I might have to take them to McDonald's

I think we might be related.
You mean I can buy shares in Hell - where do I sign up?
