    Wow I'm impressed, you were able to upgrade to Sarge, re-install all the business apps and test the environment is such a short amount of time.

    By all accounts this release was somewhat of a surprise. So how would someone who cared(TM) have known that the severity was not high enough to get the Debian team to "slow down there cowboy"?

    Actaully from Mars, one can have a Solar and lunar eclipse simultaneously. You have to make the assumption that Lunar = Earth's moon though.

    To quote a paragraph from tfa;

    By contrast, the scientists found that in Siberian areas where the ground below is still permanently frozen, the number of lakes actually increased by about 4% and total lake area grew by about 12% over the last three decades.

    Interestingly they neglected to indicate how many hectares this 12% represented.

    I guess that wasn't as dramatic a headline.

    I think it is "Gaia", and if indeed pissed, Gaia will find a way to bring back a balance to the environment.
    This might cause 100's of millions of humans to be wiped out, but it is a small price to pay.

    I would be interested in the statistics of user's OS visiting WAREZ sites. We know that these sites are where most of the Spyware and popups come from.
    Let's face it, if you downloaded some hot new software for your MAC OX and it requested the ADMIN password to complete installation - hey presto, carte blance to put anything onto your MAC.

    Perhaps not arrogant, but merely feel that life is such an amazing coincidence that it could not possibly have had exactly the right conditions to take off anywhere else?
    Side note, now that we have to confirm we are not a script - is it possible to relax the 20 seconds to post restriction?

    I would have read this on my Knoppix 3.8.2 linux except I can't get the WIRELESS network card to talk to my Router.
    So here I am on XP and happily typing away via my WIRELESS network card and router

    With all due respect to your obvious technical browess, do you really think that you can just open up a shop front and start trading.
    Why?
    Customers don't just appear out of nowhere. Stock of hardware will set you back, unless you have a good relationship with a wholesaler. Just to name a few.
    It would be like setting up a Beta video store - you know you have the better product, but no-body out there is asking for it.
    When I was made redundant 4 years ago, a friend of mine gave me a shot at Mortgage broking. Ching Ching I thought, hey I know all about home lending (worked in banks for 16 years writing lending software). Then I found out about real networking, I was out of my league.
    My point is it is not enough to have a good product and technical knowledge.

    I don't see how three almost identical screenshots(of each piece of functionality) actually gives you enough information to make a choice.
