There actually hasn't been a larger number or tornados in the U.S. this year, compared to recent years. Just more of them have been hitting towns and cities this year. Better aim?
Yeah, sure but do you see anyone with real money in the game thinking these scenarios may come to pass? I mean, besides insurance companies and the military. Sure, they're making plans and acting like global warming and it's probable effects are likely but what about important people like radio talk show hosts and reactionary bloggers?
Currently, some of the main convection involves warm air rising from the equatorial areas, spreading north and south and then descending. Where this hot dry air comes down, we find desert belts. One forecasted result of increased global temperatures is that these desert belts will move further north and south. Which will suck as I currently live in the south west. Property around the Great Lakes is looking better and better. Just wish the U.S. had some national labs up in Canada so I could live on the clean side of the border.
Yeah, I'm still using my 2007 dual core Mac Pro (2.26 GHz Xeon) w/8GB RAM, running latest OS X, as well as WinXP/Win7/RHEL 5.6 on VMWare. Just can't justify upgrading a perfectly good machine. Would I like an 8 or 12 core system with 32 GB of RAM? Sure! Just can't see spending money when nothing's really broken.
Gibson's initial idea for it was seeing people in a video game arcade (any y'all remember those?) and how each person seemed to be lost in their own private world created by the machine they were at. Pretty wild to go from that to the Sprawl world.

Rosencrantz: I don't believe in it anyway.
Guildenstern: What?
Rosencrantz: England.
Guildenstern: Just a conspiracy of cartographers, then?
I don't trust any above 4 but that's just me.
Well... being from Florida (America's wang), yeah, a lot of it could stand going under. Just sayin'.

You can never trust anyone named 'Bob'. And 'Doctor Bob'? Oh HELL no!
Who knows what ruins are hidden on Dagobah.
No, really! She was carving her initials into the moose with the sharpened end of a toothbrush given to her by Sven, her brother-in-law.
Ah. I fall into the

Do we want to be a super power? Is this a good thing?
And the chip will mark what job you're best for.
We're incubating troll babies?
WAH?
The fact that we don't throw feces at each other during arguments is real progress.

Yup, the same company that provides our warranty HP and Dell support also supports our Macs. Is mostly the same 3 techs as well.

Between the two of them, you have a well rounded writer.
