Have you seen how confusing OS X is, under the hood? There's all these weird commands you have to type out and remember what they mean and then all these weird variables and settings. It's enough to drive the Pope mad. No wonder workers are killing themselves. Probably have great remorse for enabling such horrible evil loose in the western world.
Text/book files is something that iTunes needs to be able to handle. I had to do the same thing, setting up an eBook page on my home server, just to access them for install.
I haven't checked how Apple's dealing with their eBook deal but imagine they're wrapped in an iPad App file so that iTunes can handle them. I should look in to how to do this for my own stuff.
3) Apple should have incorporated iTunes itself into the iPad. That way, you don't need a second computer to buy music, video and e-books that work on the iPad.
But now, Mac laptops don't have any mouse/trackpad button. It's all done with gestures. 1 finger click for left click, 2 finger click for right and so on. I haven't tried out a tablet yet but would be interesting to see if they carry over to iPhone OS.
In polite company, it's referred to as Georgium Sidus.
That was some good chili but I'm going to be paying for it once it hits my Georgium Sidus.
Right before hitting the combustion chamber.
Ah, what really happened to Billy Mays?
Is Second Life still running?
Porn-Sat 1?
DNF's been cancelled? When did this happen?
Damn it! We fell off the computer. Coulda' patented that.
Do slashdotters count as a single different species or are each of us a species unto ourselves?

I thought it pulled in your bookmarks and browsing history from Mozilla's server that tracks all firefox usage.
Sorta' like boobs or not boobs?
New Mexico's already building their space port. Will be interesting to see if sub-orb traffic takes off.
Amazon's already having trouble delivering a coffee maker to me without cracking the carafe. Not sure about this.
Without a terminal and command line, they're all DOA.
Actually, the form factor is pretty cool and some kind of console/VNC/Terminal device in this form factor would be cool. Maybe Cisco will make one.

Uh, it is. Same as on iPhone and iPod Touch.

If Apple fanbois say Windows 7 is dead then yeah, it's dead. Don't cross Apple!
And therefore, useless to anyone else as well?
I mean, a motor-scooter is totally useless to me so why the hell would anyone else want one?
