I can't recommend New York City parks for children after dark. Is there really any public park in the world you can 100% safely bring children after sun down? I'm definitely not into over-protecting children but as a grown adult I generally avoid parks and poorly lit areas after dusk. Just plain old self preservation.
Regarding arcade games, for me that is why it is so nice in recent years to be able to play games of my youth via emulator + roms without having to spend anything! Back in the day it really galled me that to even get a little bit proficient I had to spend a lot of money. In hindsight I see that the 'cool' guys who were really good at the games spent crazy amounts of money and in my experience, these were usually not the sharpest tools in the shed. Back then, arcade games, while fun, always did seems like a big cheat to me.
Yay Paul Krugman! I used to read his op-eds in the NYT a few years ago - before I stopped reading the NYT entirely. He was so often very sensible and to my mind, correct most of the time. A real voice of reason. Glad to know he is still making sense.
Backyard? Yeah, right!
What is a cow-orker? Someone who orks cows? I hope it is not uncomfortable or painful for the ruminants.
FYI, that should be 'foreword'.
They used to dilute it with champagne but that was too cheap. No idea what they are using since they stopped using gold. Ground unicorn horns perhaps?
There was a sequel to Titanic? what a dreadful thought!

Stirring the rice? What, making risotto? Fancy.
