Our (U.S.) government and our industry is hypocritical. We should not be importing so much as a grain of rice from China. I say fuck 'em. Their shoddy crap has cost us far more than we own them in dollars. Shut the doors and let them fester in their corrupt, overpopulated communist stench.
Kermit, maybe. I've heard the barbed wire story. The link layer was Arcnet as I recall. I always think of it as the spark-gap-generator of LAN technology.
Car makers are designing cars for themselves. All they want is low manufacturing cost and a captive audience for specialized replacement parts and repair procedures.
They aren't making cars idiot-proof, just unresponsive and unreliable for drivers who have a clue.
Staged? Top Gear always stages things. How else could they compare a Ferrari to a bicycle or a jet plane to a car. It's entertainment, folks. If Tesla thinks that Top Gear unfairly cost them sales then they are just plain stupid.
I watched that episode. IMO they showed the strengths and weaknesses of the car. The idiot, Clarkson, claiming that 55 miles of pedal-to-the-metal driving is "real world" is no more ludicrous than Tesla claiming that their roadster is a competitive sports car.
That Tesla CEO douchebag should just take his lumps and go racing if he thinks he thinks he has the car for it.
I'd like to propose a more equitable law. When a big company screws enough people with crap like this we take the corporate officers and the board of directors out into the street and bludgeon them.
No, the upgrade just allowed Watson to receive correct answers electronically after they are revealed. The example they gave was a Jeopardy category where the correct response was always the name of a month. Watson didn't understand this until it saw other correct answers given by its competitors.
I didn't see anything about Watson using any speech recognition.
IMO, the vast majority of all three branches of government are more concerned with their party than with their constituents. They are traitors and should be treated as such.
Right, 1986 front drive 3.8s had distributorless ignition (DIS). 1985 had a distributor but it was still "electronic" (no points).
Turbo Regals (Grand National) got the intercooler in 1986 but they had DIS since 1984. Non-turbo Regals never got fuel injection or DIS until they changed the model to front drive in 1988.
There is an inherent scarcity of resources. There's bandwidth which is allocated by completely fair, cough cough, FCC auctions and there are zoning restrictions on where cell towers can be built.
In other words, the government agencies are in control. Here in the U.S. we are blessed, puke shit fart, with so many different layers of government it's nearly impossible to keep track of them. City, state, interstate (50x50), federal.
At the end of the day, it's illegal to do anything in this country without paying extortion to the bureaucracies at large. Those who manage to pay the proper bribes are allowed to FUCK THE GENERAL PUBLIC UP THE ASS.
As much as I share your sentiment, that statement is not true. Cable TV (CATV) was invented to distribute regular broadcasts to areas where private antennas are not feasible.

Calculators real RPN are anyway.
That fixed you for there.

I fail to see your logic.
Double fucking is the proper term.

Step right up Ballmer, you're first.
Because they're crooks.

I wish I had mod points.
It's FUBAR.

God himself could not starve these microbes.
900/11? OMG!
Well, either you're at war, or you're on a homicidal rampage such as the current one started by that little cunt from Midland, Texas...
Not that he's actually a Texan.
"Who knew that it'd be governments vs. the people?"
Nixon?
Just another wall street gang of douchebags.
Right.

Try 1984 for multi-port and DIS on the turbo Regals.
Front drive Olds 98 came out in 1985. It had multi-port injection but still had a distributor.

That's why the phones don't work.
Any more stupid questions?
"Cable was invented to be commercial free."
As much as I share your sentiment, that statement is not true. Cable TV (CATV) was invented to distribute regular broadcasts to areas where private antennas are not feasible.
Just as you did. Well done!
