"I can't believe people are modding you up for this."
I can. Maybe you're too young to remember when the term monolithic was commonly used to describe a kernel which, instead of using loadable modules, was linked as a single binary image. This was, and is, a valid use of the word. Here's an example.
The first time I heard someone say that Solaris is monolithic, I thought that they were saying that, like SysVR3, it didn't support loadable modules. I didn't realize that, with the development of microkernels, the term "monolithic kernel" had started to be used in a different context.
Excellent sig, but I think the actual Tom Waits quote is "I'd rather have a free bottle in front of me than a prefrontal lobotomy." The version you have comes from a song Dr. Demento used to play.
it's pretty sleazy to use that position to monitor chatrooms until the girls become "barely legal" and then go for it
When Bill Clinton appointed Monica to his, uh, staff, he showed the kids of the day that it's not how sleazy you are that matters; it's whether you lie to congress about it.
if municipalities considered contracting with verizon for installation or maintenance work on the system.
"Why in the world would you think your (cell) phone would work in your house?"
Uh, because it's not covered in tinfoil? Because my am/fm radio works? Because my friends' phones work here? Because not every cell system sucks as hard as verizon?
"Does anyone REALLY think we are going to let N. Korea to continue to exist in it's current regime."
Please define "we". The way I see it, North Korea is China's responsibility. Sanctions against China might convince them to do something about the lunatic Kim Jung Il.
I'm hear today to speak out against congress lapdancing. Congress lapdancing is a terrible idea. Stuffy old men grinding their hips for money is disgusting, even for a politician. Why, the next thing you know they'll be making pornographic movies. Now, who would want to watch that?

Does this only work for B+?
"blowjob for $7.95"
I heard it was $6.99.
"Proper grammer is admirable,"
Good spelling is overrated.
It's a cookbook!
This is the one I remember from the seventies.

Yeah, we'll make up for it with high volume.
Yes, it is. From the article you referenced"
"These more powerful systems will take a decade to reach showrooms in any number."
68. A system of claim 67, wherein the sharks swim in synchronization with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

Isn't that what the scheduler does?

Seidenberg gets an F in PR.
"gift" is too a verb....
It's the verb that keeps on verbing.

Still, it's probably a better idea than landmines.
Much better than mod points, ty!
He'd probably shove a lightning rod up yours.

The extra 's' is for extra "savings".
"I wish that people spoke mathematically rather than poor and ambiguous languages"
You fail it.
