    I take it to mean something that has passed the OpenGroups tests.

    I take "unix-a-like", "unix based" and "un*x" to mean "Open source clone that can not aford the fees" or "Almost like Unix, but missing some stuff".

    I'm sure you have never heard of half the standards groups that exist, that does not make them invalid.

    eah? Are you suggesting a "spam license"?

    The spam indestry is pritty much completly illegal, so i really don't see how anything suggested thus far will help.

    Stop spam is easy, we'll just use a tech. which will kill email (a nice, esablished and easy[1] standard), and drive people property protocals[2] which will then be spammed instead?

    Not many people know were the term "spam" comes from, but everyone[1] knows what it means (email wise), and it does come from the Monty Python sketch.

    However it did not orginally go with bulk email, but instead with some wanker on posting the same post over and over again on a newsgroup or IRC.

    For a "geek", yeah 128MB sucks, but in a biz enveroment, that would be pritty cool, no MP3 collections clogging up the file server, and the ability to easly work from home.

    They would vanish as quicky as mice thou. I fear.
