More people listen to Lady Gaga than Dream Theater because Gaga songs are all written using the pop formula. Dream Theater is a progressive band who uses the entire spectrum of notes, styles, and has a tendency to write songs that last for 28 minutes...most people who listen to pop listen to 1 song until they are bored with it, then they go to the next song. And said song is only 3 minutes long....
