    My thoughts exactly, So many times in my work life I've found - less than adequate coworkers slacking or sabotaging - like they needed to work at being bad. Sometimes I wonder how any progress happens.

    The Problem: Drone flies in a manner the that the Eagles think is either prey or competitor. Solution: Find a flying creature they don't attack - Most likely a vulture(everybody thinks vultures are icky, even other birds) - and imitate it's flight

    I too was at Agate. Traveled from Northern Michigan and I'd do it again tomorrow. A peak experience, a wonderful location and great crowd to be in. The best part was the crowd hanging around for hours afterwards enjoying the park and it's exhibits. The Park personnel did a fantastic job planing for a mass of people that they had no good way to estimate.

  22. This thing will result in a mobility revolution for the disabled. Once it's in production and cost comes down. And.. Stairs will be no problem. it balances well enough that half a dozen different solutions should be available (a deploy-able post would be easy)

    A lot of the "Predictions" you cite came from misunderstandings by reporters rather than from the science or Scientists. The actual prediction from AT Least the early 90's has been "weather will TEND to be more extreme" that means - Hotter, colder, wetter, drier at a greater number of occasions, at more "inappropriate" times. The warming is only noticeable in aggregate, over longer periods than humans can generally cope with.
