    If the business owners don't agree, freeze their accounts, raid their homes, put them in prison.

    If they have money overseas, use leverage to get those funds.

    You seem to want to give these people the ability to do whatever they want by crying that the sky is falling if they are regulated and made to play fair.

    You've crafted a false dichotomy, and all your concerns can be addressed by new laws. These companies get very rich off of our nation, they will be forced to give back to the people who made them rich.

    It's not quite the same, is it? People are held to much higher levels of accountability than corporations. Either hold the corps to the same levels, or make them accountable by taxing them and spending the money to right their wrongs.

    Nearly all the ideas on Judeo-Christian religion were 'copied' or 'stolen' from previous cultures and religions.

    I think the only original idea was that there was but a single god who did it all.

    I don't care about time shifting when they play the shows over and over. I care about skipping commercials. Commercial skip is often disabled with these provided DVRs, so I won't use them.

    I'm sure some content will be disallowed on their P-2-P systems, so I won't use that either.

    Nobody seems to care about this, but some fat American girl who by all accounts was a douchebag to her classmates offs herself....and human life is 'sacred' or some such BS.

    And why does a 40-year-old woman not get the breaks this girl's peers apparently get? Don't we try children as adults when someone ends up dead (more hypocrisy in our legal system)...why aren't the other classmates who teased this girl getting part of the action.

    It's BS, plain and simple. People are sad and angry that chubbo ended it all and want someone to pay....legality and sanity or not.

    Decades of laws sponsored by and benefitting the wealthy make it quite difficult to put a value on someone.

    We should just start trying things. If they don't work out, we'll deal with the problems as they arise.

    If that kind of logic and planning is good enough for invading a nation and killing it's people, it's good enough for our tax code.

    You'd rather not get your fair share from rich people, because you think some day you'll be rich?

    Trend analysis shows that the 'american dream' is bullshit. More people moving down than up. Good luck with that.

    It's not the level of taxes, my criminal friend, it's the distribution of taxes.

    Tax burden in the USA has shifted significantly from the rich to the middle class. Sure, the tax rates tell one story but loopholes and dodges let the rich guys avoid most of their responsibility.

    It's cheap and black and white and even if it sits for weeks it fires up and prints perfectly. Much more than I can say for inkjets costing more.

    Maybe some day they'll make a cheap color laser printer that's as reliable, and I'll buy it.
