    I'm no PETA animal nut, but for fucks sake the conditions in those farms turn my stomach. I can afford to buy the expensive organic free-range chicken, but many cannot. There will be those who cry that the poor will be unable to afford the chicken grown in your proposed 'nicer cage'. Ignore 'em. I dunno about you, but the 'poor' people in my city are all pretty goddam fat. They aren't starving.

    Probably wasn't weighed down with all the police gear...most cop trunks I've seen (and not from the back seat either :) ) are filled with electronic gadgets and all sorts of equipment they need to do their job.

    they are able to accelerate faster and maintain a higher speed than the heavy police cruisers :)

    Cop cars, despite the heavy duty suspension (in the US anyway) don't really handle all that well. The crook just needs to get far enough away into tight roads and lose 'em.

    Can't out run the radio my ass, just lose 'em in a densely populated area and make a run for it.

    ...and this post is all me. Having worked on projects using many products made by my company, bugs have often been found. These changes go through quickly as we all work for the same boss. This is not to say that other customers do not get fixes made to products they use. A popular server or two we sell has acquired many features and fixes directly as a result of requests by external customers.

    Likely, the system extracts the error codes and sends them to an operator who takes their presence in context with what the car was doing when the lite came on. Unless you are familiar with modern engine control systems, you're gonna need someone to tell you if it's bad or really bad.
