    I think hes implying that Microsoft should be responsible for providing for both ends of the transmission for essential patches, basically Microsoft reimbursing me for the data they have used from my connection for having to download the entirety of service pack 2.

    Think of it like them providing an 800 number for you to call to get the update.

    Any sort of critical thinking question, generated in an image, should be sufficient to foil auto-registers until AI progresses enough to make the entire idea pointless.

    Something non-subjective like your suggestion, as long as it is not done in actual text so that the algos can identify keywords.

    i read an article a while back that basically proved that adaware is a steaming pile of feces.
     
    spybot s&d is a much better single-solution choice, although if im cleaning a machine i use adaware, spybot, defender, kazaabegone, x-cleaner, ewido and hijackthis.

    Upconverted dvd playback vs HD playback? I can barely tell the difference. Dont believe me? Go checkout a demo at your local bigbox retailer. Just dont pay attention to the "HDDVD vs Standard DVD" demo. Try to check it out next to a 720p upconverted player.

    Despite all the crap that's leveled against Microsoft on the same subject, some justified, much not, Apple's attitude towards security is not much better.

    If theyve fixed it before an 0day exploit came out, they are doing a good sight better than MS at patching and acknowledging security as a necessity.

    Its a matter similar to the difference between commercial and F/OSS software - but slightly different in that a lot of the content someone didnt get paid to make is of basically no value.
