    I'd like to see it where candidates running for President, for example, all get voted on. The top vote getter is President, the second most vote-getter is the Vice President, etc.

    Facebook must either comply with laws or fight them in court. Not agreeing with them or even being morally correct does not mean they can fail to follow or comply with said laws.

    Why doesn't WikiLeaks leak information about China, Russia, Iran, North Korea or any other country? Just American leaks are made public so I bet WikiLeaks is supported by one or more of our enemies financially or technically.

    Let's stop blaming the rich. I aspire to better myself but if the reward for being better is getting hammered with a massive tax burden maybe I'll stay lower middle class.

  10. I started with BASIC on a Commodore Vic-20 and P.E.T. then moved on to assembly on a Commodore C-64 (thank you Jim Butterworth for your two books). After that, I programmed in Pascal, C and Visual Basic dependent on what I needed to get done and how much time I needed to dedicate to it.

    Cars kill people so imprison auto manufacturers, OSes are used to sometimes do nefarious things so imprison OS vendors and those who contribute to them, and the list goes on. This world has gone nuts and the governments of this world have gone crazy with their power and ability to spy on their citizens.

    Yup, your premise will remain true until these millennials reach critical mass and run everything. Then we're all doomed.

    Since the 4-year degree is the new GED, how about some millennials go into a trade (e.g. machining, HVAC, electrician, etc.) as they are in short supply and high demand, especially with manufacturing (hopefully) returning to America.

    While there are some great movies out there I think movie makers rely far too much on special effects rather than story to sell a movie and remakes, sequels and prequels are usually of poor quality. Couple that with ludicrous movie ticket and snack pricing and no wonder people feel the need to pirate them. Fortunately, Red Box and others are here along with the streaming services.

    We cannot state that we need the same representation in the various fields as we have in the general population. Women and men, blacks and whites, hetero and homo, all have different interests for whatever reason. What we need is to ensure that everyone is given an opportunity to try and if they are unsuccessful so be it. Seems to work in sports where the best are hired and retained, why not try this with work and stop with the PC work force demographics BS.

    I'm sure she will continue to use encryption to protect herself but expects everyone else to lose their seurity. Kind of like her opposition to guns yet she surrounds herself with armed guards.
