I find it disconcerting that having a FaceBook account makes you less suspicious and more hirable. Isn't this just another form of discrimination? We've finally gotten (mostly) past looking at people's race, religion, sexual preference, and skin color but we can now look at their willingness to keep nothing personal and private and hold that against them? How is this legal?

Is there a reason this happens? I mean, what makes the orbits of planets around the sun different from orbits of man-made objects around the Earth? Do all the planets orbit in the same direction? Satellites and other space junk orbit retrograde and prograde, over the equator, poles, or anything in between, and with circular or elliptical orbits. Why don't the planets do this as well? Could it be that they've been orbiting for billions of years and all the planets orbiting different were consumed or destroyed by the others?

Kind of ironic people don't see this as an even bigger potential threat to civil rights than anything else. I agree the laws or rules that are based on religion can be applied by believers and non-believers alike. Are you opposed to the Ten Commandments being posted in public areas or is that too close to a religion being sanctioned by a state or federal agency (just curious)? Would you approve of a course taught in high school where all major religions were explained in a semester, maybe followed with a semester on evolution? I think that could expose students to things so they could understand the problems of the world better and they could explain the good rules of life such as the one you mentioned, along with many others.

"Freedom of religion" is freedom from being forced by the government to worship a certain way or be involved in a specific church. There is no state-sponsored or approved religion, we may worship or not worship as we see fit. "Freedom from religion" does do hand-in-hand as it's your choice to not worship in any way whatsoever. Also fine. I just get tired of the attacks on religion which seem to be in vogue...
