This is great! Love the screenshots too, but WTF is that system idle process running at 99% !!!???!!! Jesus H that thing is a hog! Does anyone know how to kill it? I don't want to burn out my CPU...
I would also like to have some way to brag about it to other laser printer wielding geeks. That means that I'd need to make some kind of repeatable and measurable testing of the printers quality
This laptop is designed for people who need casual portability, like taking the machine home with you at night or on a weekend
Aren't those the same people who need casual portability when the occasional business trip pops up in their inbox? Do you really think they are going to leave their tried/trusted portable at work/home for a less than desirable loaner portable?

I am currently trying to get the music industry to sign a code of conduct too! In a nutshell, it says that the music industry will supply us with quality music (down with Britney!) at a resonable price ($5 a cd anyone?) and fair use rights (cd mixes for my *cough* girlfriend!). I'm having trouble getting them to sign. Please advise...
where rules have no meaning, the gods fry the players at request, and players are killed by homicidal butterflies and socks...my kind of game! Where do I sign up?!?!
actually...I just thought of another consideration...power interference. What impact will his shop tools (e.g. table saw, band saw, dust collector, etc.) have on his computers that are running in the same room? I'm not talking about everything running on the same electrical circuit...I'm wondering about interference due to proximity...those tools put out a lot of energy and they have been known to mess up wristwatches.
... when I see it.

Yeah. Hire someone else (it sounds like you are in over your head).
I know of no one who uses Opera, but, then again, I don't get out of my parents' basement too often.
