    All of you guys, the north declares war on the south every other day, if you don't believe me point your antennae west & tune into 17110KHz at 1300UTC, they always have an excuse. For a 60 year-old war, this is peace. Saying there ISN'T relative peace is like saying the USSR & US bombed eachother all the time.

    You'd think they'd at least GOOGLE SONY VS. CONNECTIX. Even Nintendo has an entire page on their site dedicated to emulation FAQs. I suppose they could sue on the grounds of patent infringement...if they hadn't expired 20 years ago. Wait there's the Atari 8-bit BIOS & OS ROMs...that have been reverse engineered, reprogrammed & improved upon. Y U NO THINKING ATARI!? Still, I've been using atari2600a as my standard alias for a decade, can't go back on that now...

    Wouldn't any benefit be lost in the amount of energy required to overcome the tint of even a polarized photovoltaic? It'd also add yet another layer of glass to the already sandwiched LCD (backlight pane, that plastic lense thing, the LCD pane, SURPRISE NOW A SOLAR PANE, the digitizer & yet another pane for the faceplate...this might actually work in conjunction with OLED's though...

    None of you guys have seen 4chan's /g/, or really any gaming board or channel filled with sweaty teenagers loyal to brand names. Every other thread, discussion or flame-war is going to be Radeon VS GeForce, & if they're using the Radeon name this is going to pull it an entire market of 13 year-olds building their first frankenbuild or high-end build off of Newegg with mom's credit card. This is exactly what I'm talking about: people impulsively opting towards the fancy packaging that says Radeon on it for the marked-up price & right marketing code-words ("Fast performance" "increased gigabits!") while doing little to no research regarding price, performance & quality. THIS is what sheeple are. Or sherpson. Or the PC term "The little hairy quadrupedal people".

    I know a guy that buys blank DVDs by brand name even when I clearly point out the industrially-packaged A-DATA disks for 1/3 the price on the top shelf, so I'm sure AMD will find a good following of sheeple for their memory.

    I'd actually found the Dreamcast controller quite comfortable as a child. Then again, I spent more time on a Wildcat controller with broader grips on the bottom, but it was the same basic design...

    I see where they're getting at: SCE made the protocol so proprietary (but with off-the-shelf hardware) that it requires low-level access. On Android that means root access to a block device.

    It would definitely be simpler than hauling around a Wii controller + a Wii Classic Controller Plus for every game I can't control with A B Start Select, but no HTC? There goes 90% of all the phones...

    If we built a closed-circuit freeway-style system we wouldn't be using cars now would we, we'd be using personal rapid transit because it'd be considerably cheaper to implement rather than retrofitting an entire country of cars.

    Also I know whenever I bring this up on slashdot a flame-war between libertarians, liberals, socialists, communists,. capitalist conservatives, etc but I'm afraid I can't ride this one tonight, I have work in the morning to pay for repairs for my Honda Cub I bought with existing non-plastic paper money that technically has no value but fuck it at least I'm not in debt.

    With a fractional reserve banking system these highs & lows are an inherit trait. Either we accept them & roll the dice for riding it out or economic collapse, or we abolish the central bank for a third time. I for one think an entire society built on inherit debt is but a ticking time-bomb, set off purely by our own fear.
