Granted there were plenty of hypertext languages before HTML, you cannot get all pissy because someone else created a better, much more robust language & accompanying protocol.
Those 1860's Phonautograph recordings are more impressive IMO, though I could imagine how eery it must have been seeing someone's voice being rapidly printed in a snaky fashion, as if ribbons of silk were being pulled from their throats...
Here in CA, if you want to be a technician you either have to have certs OR a degree in a related field OR experience-- all three of those appear to be wildly interchangeable unless it's a bureaucratic environment where a certification ACTUALLY IS required. That, & if you want to be a technician of any sort you have to have a valid Class-C license & a car, so you're fucked if you drive a bike with a milk-crate tied to the luggage rack.
They simply KNOW what's a reasonable timescale & what's not! I don't know if anyone remembers, but remember the shuttle program? They were actually SHUTTLES; vehicles designed to SHUTTLE people en-masse to the giant space stations we were supposed to have by now before funding was cut, & simply to build them took OVER A DECADE to get from idea to reality, & by the time they finished they had no giant space stations to shuttle people to so they gutted the seats & called it a cargo hold. So, let's review: we take over 10 years for a project that WASN'T EVEN CLOSE TO A LUNER BASE, & in the end instead of a shuttle we get a freight train that kept breaking down. To top it off, the funding came through because of the space race / national security more than anything else.
Apparently living in symbiosis with plants constantly exchanging atmospheric gases is exactly the same as the one-way releasing of gas on a massive scale coupled while reducing the number of plants that live in symbiosis with it.
Most slaughterhouses in the US pay no attention to federal humane slaughtering & biohazard laws, what I find most surprising is they just *threw away* the wastewater-- that stuff makes perfect additive for fertilizer!
If we were doing in this in a pre-quantum-minicomputer era wouldn't it be easier to just entangle the qubits you need first & use quantum teleportation? I mean, I'm no physicist...
Depends on the scale I guess-- I have a cousin that once used a silver ink pen to repair a garage door opener. Not sure where it was on the circuit but something tells me if the circuit fractured to begin with it must have been one of the 5HP move-y bits
Millions were still dying as a result of famine & the cultural revolution in 1971, it's only natural emissions would spike once everyone stopped dying, but still...
Why would a chinese company be bound by california law? Wouldn't it be easier to sanction the company or something like that? Also, when did Apple OWN Steve Jobs' identity; that's something for the Jobs estate to deal with, not Apple...
I have it going in verbose mode it waits on a beacon when there's no current connection then when I have it connected to my router already it just cycles through all the channels (even the ones I legally shouldn't be able to connect to, so it's nice to know I don't have a hardware cap on that)
Well nice going Boxee, you've just alienated THE MAJORITY OF YOUR FANBASE that ignore the expensive glorified trinkets w/ HDMI cables sticking out of them in favor of self-built microATX, laptop, or straight-up desktop setups. Either way, perhaps something better will come out of it. IIRC Boxee used entirely different backends for each platform...
It's not a threat of terrorism if you threaten to kill a bad ideal is it?

Anyone else check the source to see if there was a hidden message, only to be terribly disappointed?

We all know apple's the one that failed to adapt their enterprise offerings & is now dying in the sector because of that fact.
>2012 >Traditional education >Taking notes >Lectures I seriously hope you guys don't do this
You're thinking too far into the future of the program-- I'm talking about conception, where we are NOW with this "lunar base". Before Apollo VIII we DID have plans for a giant fucking space station & frequent transport. I can shart out links too, you know: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_the_Space_Shuttle_program#Purpose_of_the_system

The great technocratic war is now upon us my brethren! Join with me, & we shall wipe the imperialist scourge from these lands at last!

We get a Silver Ink story, as if it hadn't been invented years ago available at any Frys electronics ready to mend any severed circuit.

What is this Somalia!?
In times of famine, anyone in the military gets dibs. (Keep in mind, 5% of the total population is in the Korean Peoples Army)
It's a Honda monkey bike reproduction, except gutted & made out of aluminum instead of steel...

No one over 45 talks about their divorce on the internet-- we need 10 more years for that to happen.
I say der juden need to be rounded up isolated from the rest of society!
Online petition means you don't get the >45 age-range, & something tells me ye olde people divorce too.
