First off, I really don't think that Microsoft wants to stop software piracy, it's not in there best interest to do so. So this whole thing is just a waste of time.
Hell, many people in Afghanistan use Windows XP. If MS was to put anti-piracy measures, those people would be forced to switch unless they like paying a whole years salary just to buy Windows.
Why is that? I have other things to do with my life than to fight governments and telemarketers. If I don't want something, why should I be forced to have it anyway? I don't want it, leave me the hell alone.
EA dropped XBox Online support for one simple reason. They want to use there own servers and they want to charge the customers a monthly fee per game. Have you bought NHL 2003 or NBA 2003 for PC recently? You'll notice that they're charging you $5.99/month (w/free 60 days trial) for online play. And you know what the problem is? There servers suck and don't even work half of the time. If you don't believe me, just try it out.
So tell me, which is better? Paying a fixed fee like $50/year for all online enabled games or paying like $5.99/month for each online game? I don't wanna end up paying $50/month just to play games.
Under NDA. But I tell you, that voice chat works great and makes a big difference in MP games. Before you ask, yes I already tried Roger Wilco and even the Sidewinder game voice.
Call me stupid, but the main reason why I actually bought the XBox is because of its big controllers. Besides, the small controllers are made by MS to. Those big controllers are confortable and fit in my hand. The Sony ones are way too small for my taste.
Well it just doesn't work that way with the consoles. Neither Sony nor MS will take the risk of letting the console owners host the games. Most console owners don't have a T1 connection and stuff like that anyway.
All the MS trolls where saying that we shall all use Linux because it's technically superior, it doesn't matter if it didn't have enough good games or the software we want. We should just use Linux because it's so much better. But when it comes to PS2 and XBox they start claiming that the PS2 have a larger library and we should get a PS2 even though the XBox have better graphics. Go figure.
1) You have the option of getting a smaller controller, but I prefer the original one. 2) As an XBox Live beta tester, I can say that it's the greatest thing to happen to consoles since Mario.
I have to admit. I have an XBox and I love it. But Halo? Just your average FPS game on a console. Who plays FPS games on a console? Not me. I purchased plenty of race, fighting and action games though.
I don't see how last years software can leave your business in the dust. Let's say I still have Windows 98, what difference does it make? Sure it lacks some features, but those are features that I can live without. Same thing with a car
Grow up, why would anyone use it if it ain't good? After all the PDF format is free.
Truth is. We're owned :(
Now I can tell my friends that I have a porshe :)

Same here, so we try to go at times where there aren't many people.
I go to the movie theather at least once every two weeks, I have a 50" HDTV and I buy lots of DVD movies. Two of my friends do the same.
How are we contributing the the downfall of the movie industry?
Good point. I guess they should put in this feature.
The problem with Wordperfect is that Corel seems to be hanging by a hair. This company doesn't push its products hard enough.

True, that's the reason why Apple switched to FreeBSD code.
I rarely ever see an MS ad. People consider them good at marketing though.
I found a new use for my boot. How about I stick it up your candy ass?
Now now, don't get all bent out of shape whenver a new use is found by someone more clever. Just bend over a little.

You have the option of muting the obscene people.

They don't have servers only in the US you know. They spread them out, they're not that stupid.
You will be able to block some rude people if you want so that you can't hear them.

Weird I always thought that Nintendo owned Rare.

Funny I was gonna say the opposite.

Oh then I guess, Nintendo should just stop selling the Gamecube, since it's selling almost the same amount as the XBoxes.
Do I get any part of that amount?
