I don't think that having it display something NSFW should really be an issue. When someone first mentioned something about this I was curious (good thing I'm not a cat) about what would happen if you do type something like "milf" or "porn" into google instant search. As it turns out google doesn't display any results for things of that nature and just says "press enter to search" which is no different than the "old" google.
I think it would be neater to be done in binary.
Or perhaps convert it to ASCII to see if pi actually represents a story of some kind that is being told to us by the aliens.
Perhaps they figured that if you go on both sides of an argument you are bound to win atleast 50% of the argument.
Or, perhaps it just truly shows their incompetence.
I thought the point of this article was to switch to Linux which will be free of all of those windoz viruses. Or to perhaps not click on links that you don't trust.
>>>but performance is not a priority with my software. "Buy One Now (tm)".
But the thing is with Wine is that you can just go over to their site and download it right now, for free. Heck, they will even let you download the source code for free so you can work on it on your own volunteered time. Then you can work on whatever you want, whether it be speed/performance or compatibility.
Wasn't there something posted on slashdot recently about how Linux is actually closer to 7-8% usage along with Mac being at like 9%? I'm not sure if that included Android or iOS though.
But how would you set up the computer to compute its own particles? If you really want a truly accurate representation of the entire universe you would need to include the computer doing this... I sense a paradox coming on.
Doesn't Google already know enough about everyone? They already have gmail, blogspot, youtube, Ad-words, and analytics.
As great as Google is, it doesn't need to be any bigger than what it is now.
Google should have already searched for what I wanted before I even go there. In fact, i shouldn't even have to search. Google should be smart enough to automatically open the web page I want before I even know that I want it open.
Yes you should, but Steve objects to it so it doesn't happen. Plenty of reasons for and against it, but as far as I'm aware you can only install apps through the marketplace.
You can install pretty much any app you want on it if you jailbreak it.
And now you can use your iPod video 5G http://psgroove.com/?p=1028
I think you mean up up down down left right left right BA
9/23/10, the day facebook went down, and everyone remembered they have lives.

Ubuntu releases always use alliteration. Meaning that the first letters are the same. Amorous Badger therefor would not be an Ubuntu release.
The wii still does not comply with the full DVD spec. Sure you can play most DVDs but it still doesn't full fill it.

He should write in a question to Slashdot on how to propose to her...

>>"Nine years ago I paid $50/month for 640kbps." Well, 640k ought to be enough for everybody...

Since when have slashdot mods actually been good?
Especially at a consumer level. You can only watch/download so much porn in one month before you hit other bottlenecks....
They would probably block or throttle all bittorrent activity though...
I like the document reader that comes with Gnome/Ubuntu.
My guess would be that they would do it in HTML5 like they have been doing a lot of things in.

Sure, but think of the children and how much better they will be able to learn under Lord Jobs.
Better teacher lounges are not a waste of money in the school's teacher's minds.
Zombies 404 That would make more sense to me, as all the students would not be able to find the class.
