first point, the time standard for slashdot is eastern, learn to adapt your local time is not the center of the fucking world

second point, quota's dont mean shit when its 24 hours before the end of said quota, which I know are only slightly enforced on slashdot in the first place, these guys are not primarily employed by slashdot, most of them pop in for a couple hours after real work to listen to asshats bitch and whine about ad free news tailored as best as they can to some random mouth breathers interests

your dealing with news for nerds by nerds, and as per personal experience you can bust your ass for 300 bucks a month while douches expect you to be Pulitzer winners

I start rolling my eyes when I start fidgeting in the cheap ass chair cause my ass is going to sleep and I am tired of holding a bag of popcorn. Sure its a three hour movie, but you get there a little early cause of lines and you dont want to be that douche that walks in during the opening scene bumping everyone cause they want the middle seats for them and their 4 buddies, then you sit there for 20 min worth of previews.

So that 3 hour movie usually turns into 3:45, and you all know that most of that extra hour is just because they feel the need to drag along on less important stuff as if it were the main focus.
