cause anyone with a phone line can upload a podcast, thats the same as being somewhat significant enough to warrant even 10 seconds of real time live broadcast even on AM radio?
yea I am stupid happy anyone can have a voice, but anyone's voice is useless in a sea of noise, hince why people seek out beacons, those beacons happen to be in realtime radio where people still go out of their way to listen to someone speak when they speak, instead of downloading a mp3 and calling at a cute name at leisure.
I just got a gigabyte with dual PCI-e 4 ram slots (1833 and if you OC it a little 2000) with all the latest buzzwords for like 70 bucks... you need to shop some more
and the fact that some people paied a tiny percentage of their 1950's paycheck and never set anything aside for themselves and rack up thousands in medical bills while drawing another few thousand every month just cause they made it to the ripe age of useless.
Same here, the only thing I still huff about is scissors but over time have learned to use them right handed... and I wear my watch on my left hand, why not, I write, eat, smoke with the left hand its not anti anything to flick your wrist to see what time it is on the hand you use the most.
the article dances around it but it just sounds like the body shell was 3d printed, so when they say "most of it actually is" they really mean "the biggest part you see is"
I never tweak my systems, I install it and actually use it
"It takes a good workday to build an archsystem from scratch, but from there on it just works until I upgrade my computer, and I really cannot say that about ubuntu."
yea ok you cant say that about ubuntu, you dont spend a day fiddle dicking with tweaking an OS that if you move it to a new machine will fuck up... I have a USB drive with ubuntu 9 on it that gets used to back peoples stuff up, not a live disk its been ran on everything from a pentium 2 to I7 laptops and I never had to touch a single thing.
computer collectors routinely take their mobo's out and run them through the dishwasher (I personally wouldn't do it without distilled water but whatever), so yea I guess the manfac's have been missing a marketing point
I have a 3 button logitech serial mouse that was a few years old when I got it in 1990, still works fine I also have random stuff from them from keyboards to mice to game controllers, always seems like a safe bet at a slightly more than reasonable price + for many many years ALL of the OEM people sent out their computers with logitech gear (granted in different colors and silkscreens)
just use a screw driver, still takes about 8 hours to dry and your not sitting there wondering if your not holding a blob of water under the spacebar that will fry the encoder
The same crap that cheap lawn chairs of made of, 1 year exposed to the elements and it crumbles into powder... why do we need million year plastics to hold beer cans?
"What is it about Linux that makes me so excited to use it"
you have to much time to faf about getting your OS to do something useful rather than doing something useful with your OS, thats what.
why AC why
rolls eyes?

anyone see an issue with this?
if its internet only its a live stream or a podcast, for it to be a radio show it needs to be broadcast on ... I dunno RADIO?
any moron can stream audio on the internet, its not quite the same as fighting for limited air time.
Guess someone finally bothered to look at that thing, and found all these black holes
I just got a 4.2Ghz AMD chip for 140 bucks last week ... Its not stupefyingly awesome, kicks the shit out of my old phenom II 720
now I can run a text editor with more than 3.1 gigs of ram
and what performs like a geforce5200 in graphics, have fun watching all those studders in every single thing you do
AMD is Intel's only direct competition in the desktop market, they are not going anywhere

wow only 70 bucks for a crappy laptop keyboard wrapped in a beer can, sign me up
I dunno, type at a decent rate?

funny, I still have a 20 meg MFM drive with its original os installed on it
great for you, arch isnt the only distro that does that
and I like how you went from one end of the spectrum to the other, did you try anything in the middle or do you just like being extreme?

Thanks for letting us know the biggest issue since day one on this thing
