We had problems like this at VeriSign, back before PayPal bought out Payment Services. So, what we did is provide access to the data in aggregate so that they could see what the demographics were without revealing the individuals behind the data. If all they are looking for is the ability to sell advertising based on demographics, aggregate data should suffice.
But really, all of these proactive and invasive "security" measures tell me that the terrorists have won. They have irrevocably changed the way of life for many Americans by forcing security measures that infringe on our personal liberties; if that isn't one of their goals, I don't know what is.

B. Go to your account settings in Facebook so that people can't mine all this information about you. Pass this tip along to your family and friends.
Visitor: So, are Pantyhose Clad Lesbians getting Fisted by GIMP Midgets ok?
Security Officer: Crikey...
Visitor: Well, is it ok or not?
Security Officer: Well, it's not on the banned list...
People standing in line: "FML" "OMG, how disgusting" "What a pig"
Visitor: What....what?!?!
No, not really. Protesting isn't illegal and the government should not be tipping off private companies. If people are breaking into your company, get better protections at your work site. Hell, when I worked at VeriSign you couldn't even get into the NOC without a retinal scan. If people do things illegally at your work site, have them prosecuted to the full extent of the law and get a restraining order against them. This isn't Minority Report, information on protesters shouldn't be passed along by the government because they "might" do something illegal. If the government has enough evidence to show that something illegal was in the works, then they should send in the police.

This is the latest secret shop that the FTC has made available. Minors trying to purchase M- Rated games had the smallest success in doing so versus explicit CDs, R Rated Movies, Unrated DVDs, and R-Rated DVDs. So, if the SCOTUS is going to back a law that restricts the sale of M-Rated games to minors I want to see the same action taken on all similar forms of media. Government intervention isn't needed in the game industry as their self-policing has improved dramatically over the last few years.
