From Steven Rhue's Plaxo profile, he graduated from Wahoo High school in Bumf**K..er Wahoo, NE in 2002, so he is only about 26. His Plaxo profile also has links to both Chet Uber's and Susan Van der Gaast's Plaxo profiles. His Linkedin profile shows him living in Lincoln, NE, which fits with other things I read. It also shows him owning/related to T.G.B.S Construction, which I haven't found anything on.
If you like that then check out the linked site for BPH Global. besides being a) the same color. b) the same cheap-ass Drupal. c) even crappier looking (if possible)., click on the Background link and read that. I have read better written spam emails which want to give me millions/make my p3n1s bigger/ sell me v1agra. For thos not wanting to waste your time traveling there, I give you the treasure that is their background:

Yep, that's pretty much it.
Just because he found the super-secret directory, http://www.facebook.com/directory/ and wrote a program that would read it. Of all the evil, nefarious things to do.
1. Sell crappy CDs with the rootkit 2. Get mega publicity hoping the sheeple will think they must be good CDs for having this "security" on them 3. Profit
I take all the bits and pieces of old systems and strategically around my office on shelves, in boxes, and on the floor to give it the productive, lived-in look of a technological genius. I might just have them fooled.
Since you failed to read the settlement itself than you probably wont read this but...
4. HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM PART OF THE SETTLEMENT? On July 12, 2004, Judge Fogel entered an order granting preliminary approval of the settlement and certifying the following class for purposes of the settlement: All Persons who opened a PayPal account during the period from October 1, 1999 through January 31, 2004. Excluded from the class are any judicial officer to whom the lawsuit is assigned; PayPal and any of its affiliates; any current or former employee, officer, or director of PayPal; anyone who resides in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, or United Kingdom; and all persons who timely and validly request exclusion from the class pursuant to this notice.
It looks like PayPal is finally putting their.02 cents (per person).

If people had botherd to RTFA they would see that the claimed advantages are that the fuel consumption and emissions are lower than either a truck running on the road or a standard train due to the way it drives itself on the rails.
In addition it also has the advantage of being able to quickly switch from rail to road. This is faster and more efficient than loading/unloading trailers and boxes on a railcar and truck.
FYI - Deployable remote sensor systems are not a new concept. The U.S. Army has been using them since about Viet Nam in one form or another. I had the pleasure of visiting Iraq in order to deploy sensors during Desert Storm. The systems in current use can be seen here.
The system in this article appears to potentially be the next generation of this sensor system. (Any current or former GSR feel free to drop me a line)
I will back up Wolfstar on his statements. I work for the company that provides tech. support for Covad DSL and am a tech. support rep. Granted Covad doesn't bring me into every business decision they make, I still get information and am aware of what is going on. Wolfstar is pretty darn accurate in his statements from my point of view. Even though things may be a little rough at times, Covad is doing what they can to keep their place in the market and pick up the slack where these 'distressed' ISPs are dropping out.
See what you did? I just spent the last hour looking for Texas toast:/ I figured the best place to start was Mrs. Bairds since they are in Texas and I know they sell it. They don't list it as a product. Dr. Toast doesn't seem to have anything on it. Finally!! Butter Krust lists it but no picture.
I ran across a picture or two on other sites but didn't feel like linking them too. search on Google.
Is it just me or is what this guy is doing not the brightest thing. It would seem to me that pissing off the British intelligence community by threatening to destroy an important piece of their history if they aren't paid would tend to anger them a bit. They tend to have a very long memory. I hope this guy isn't fooling himself that he can hide from them either. They tend to be pretty good at finding people. I would think that he would have been better off helping them catch the person that stole it. I would think that if he cooperated a little bit they would be much more willing to reimburse him.
You asked for it, you got it.

Hey..how about a Beowulf cluster of these?
Aspergers my ass. He is either drunk, wasted, or on meds. IANAD but from what I have read non of what he was displaying are symptoms of Aspergers.

It's simple to understand.
1.Piss of Americans
2.Usage drops
3.Decrease in ad revenue
4.Not profit
If you have even taken a second to check Google China you will see there is no/little advertising.
What will it hurt to lose the the Chinese?
1. Sell crappy CDs with the rootkit
2. Get mega publicity hoping the sheeple will think they must be good CDs for having this "security" on them
3. Profit
I wonder if I can sue them for crappy music too.
In Soviet Russia, The video games play you.

1.) Tear apart old crappy computers nobody else wanted
2.) ???
3.) Profit.
The Barbarians (1987) is the only movie I ever walked out on.
Didn't your history teacher ever tell you that "Two Wrights made an airplane" when you were younger?

If we could get Eric Harshbarger to build the Beowulf cluster it would rock. Either the Linux Penguin, R2D2, or the Desk are a few of the best.

I too have thought about this...But prior to mailing it I am going to do a little disassembly of the hardware...with a very large hammer!
