I will be buying GW2 the day it launches. Same with Torchlight 2. I will not be purchasing D3 in the foreseeable future. Id rather give my money to companies that aren't trying to screw over its user base and are actually trying to make great games that people want to play with as few problems as possible.

Yep, exactly why I refuse to purchase D3. If they release a patch down the line that doesn't require me to be online with their servers just to play single player, then I will buy it.
Not really. My coworker took this week off for D3. After it went live this morning he still cant get in as the game wont actually launch. Apparently others are having the same issue as well. Ahh Blizzard, I don't miss you in the slightest.
Welcome to to the tablet/smartphone age, where everything is an app. Apps on your tablet, apps on your phone, apps on your desktop, apps on your laptop. "Software" is no more, "apps" are the future...or something like that. I despise this market shift of the last four or five years of everything needs to be mobilized as an app so no matter if you are on a tablet, smartphone or laptop/desktop everything is an app.
Apps have a place, I guess, on phones and tablets. Keep that crap off of my machines that I actually use for productivity(laptop/desktop).
I still play Privateer often in DOSBox. I don't know why, I just enjoy it immensely. I have all the WC games in my collection, they still are some of my favorites.
I still have a Windows ME box that I use for playing all my Windows 9x games on. The machine has been rock solid. As long as Windows ME drivers are used for device drivers, the OS is stable.

What ad?
Adblock Plus. Get it, and stop dealing with ad's.
XBL is only required for online play or for using online applications. Its not needed for just playing games off of disk.
The 4 gig 360S model has a built-in adapter.
I have all my Warcraft cd's still. The only downside to Warcraft 1 was having to build everything next to roads, I hated that.
No, /. has been laggy all morning so far. I keep having to try and reload pages.
Ever heard of a sump pump? Come up to the north half of the country, most houses have basements.
Seriously?
Center of the page under Getting Started, the first link is "obtain a copy".
Perhaps Debian isn't for you if you cant navigate the homepage.
Indeed, thats what I did a few versions ago. Although, im still toying with Lubuntu as well.
You were too young to understand the humor.
Read the article before posting to keep yourself from looking like an idiot next time.

They closed all of the CompUSA's here in Minnesota awhile ago. Which is a shame, I liked the stores alot.
USB or parallel cable. Printers do still plug into computers you realize?
Thank you for that, I laughed heartily in agreement.
Ahh yes, Clearwire...which uses the same WiMAX(4G) technology as Sprint...which has ZERO coverage in my area.
