No arguement there! I was using http://www.freetranslation.com/ other than my missing the "d" in bandwidth *cough*, in Norwegian its just combining the two words "bånd" and "bredde"? Whats up with the "med"?
Mega-Tech actively advertised all their titles in many pc gaming magazines, they had the standard retail edition, and then with proof of age, you could then send away for or download from their BBS the "adult" patch, so yes, mega-tech was no Origin or Apogee back in the day, but they were not hidden underground by any means
which one are you talking about? NES or the recent remake? The NES one wasn't that hard, took a little time though, NES Rygar also has some great glitches to get you to places where you are not supposed to be...
well there have been people that have scored @1,000,000 on this game and no ending, after the 22nd level the timer is way too low, so basically you just squeeze out a few points extra at that point. Heres a recap of the current world record
I mean, if you are going to go through the trouble or writing one, shave your palms and do some more research.
I understand that Ultima and Larry are more well known, but if you were a serious PC gamer back in the early 90's, you had to have heard of poignant and riveting library of games from Mega-Tech!!!:)
Hell they don't even mention Custer's Revenge one of the granddaddies of video game "erotica"; term used very, very loosely
while I agree almost completely with your post (there are actual, major, balance issues where you can't say "its a design flaw" with a straight face)
Whenever I hear of whiners, it brings me back to MK2's heyday. I used to hear people WHINE all the time that if you threw (use throws) that it was cheap and cheesy. This is a pure case of bitchy whining. Hey dopey, if you stay in one spot, crouched and blocking and I'm able to walk right up to you and throw you, I think you need to revise you gameplay tactics:)
....but then think about the army of people that you are releasing into the real world all at once? That could be a scary sight and the enviornmental and social impact would be felt for years to come...unless of course most die off due to the inability to "macro" in the real world
Black Box Voting and Bev Harris have led the fight against Diebold and ES&S hijinks for a while now, lots of good reading at that site to get you up to speed on the issues
There's nothing illegal or wrong about giving frequent and grand about public statements, at least here in the US of A, where we have the right known as "free speech".
Free speech, LOL...well thats a debate for another day, but as a CEO of a public company, that may be a whole different story. Yes, they sure have their guns blazing to attract investors, but by your logic the "pump and dump" move is perfectly fine, he can just spout bullshit in the guise of "free speech"? LMAO

if you are into the whole retro gaming scene is the excellent looking (and so far, playing) Adventure 2 for the Atari 5200. Where the 2600 is a bit more on the difficulty curve to program, the 5200 is nice that it is basically the same as the Atari 800 computer, so programming is a bit easier allowing the developers to push it further
If you happened to visit the recent Philly Classic you'd know that there is a tsunami of homebrew activity on the 2600, which is both good and bad IMHO as some titles feel and play like shovelware
The installer is designed for Windows which would, I would assume, be useless to other operating systems.
Probably, but I don't believe that open-source and moreso sourceforge having any requirements stating that any "open-source" project MUST run under xxxxx OS, does it?
And if you browse around alot of projects on SF, many say, "..were doing it in windows with a linux port hopefully down the line..."
So were you expecting Microsoft's first foray into the OSS world to be a cross platform offering? Seriously?
this sounds like a great way to make money of course ("Buy cellphone X and serive provider Y to unlock more SW: Galaxies content and exciting gameplay!!")
Good point!
A similiar model is the classic "comic book crossover issues" where say you are in the middle of a major Spider Man story arc, but alas, the next piece is to be continued in the next issue of Doctor Strange(thus raising the Doc's sales for the month) and STILL having to buy the next issue of Spider Man as well
Hey now, you don't have to work "blue" :)

Remembering in your own brain is hard! :)
Google take note, gMemories could be your next big thing after gMail
No arguement there! I was just imagining Tsutomu Shimomura whining like Jan Brady, "its always Marcia,Marcia,Marcia!!!"
YEAH!!! Why doesn't anyone throw Tsutomu Shimomura a bone once in a while? Its always Mitnick,Mitnick,Mitnick!!!!! sheesh!
watching a majority of the people that play that game is very interesting, most look like they are experiencing grand mal
Toss Karaoke Revolution in the mix and you have the complete entertainment package!

hmmmmm....maybe items such as these make them that way perhaps?
Come on now, insist on accuracy in both the census AND vote counting.
Agreed.

Why is this behavior obvious to everyone but SCO, and our courts?
Will Richard Garriott and NCSoft find a panda head in his bed next?
"Froogizzle Brfizzle eeeep Double-X-izzzzzzzzle, yo."
I think I feel a case of the SHTZ coming on....

no need to warn the linked site, since they soooooo very sneakily seemed to have submitted it themselves, so they knew it was coming
