I wish I had mod points just simply because you really did put it best. Everyone keeps saying you could totally coast, but if you actually READ TFA, you'll see how close the crash is and just simply how obvious it is that the situation occurred shortly after takeoff.
Looks like this next generation of consoles is going to get horribly over looked, and probably die a good bit from bad business moves. I know I would never buy a console with that kind of restriction on it.
This wind map really swept up my interest. It's really cool to see wind wind up on a map like this. I wonder if this will end up getting jet streamed over to an app of some kind? It would be quite the windward sight.
But they never pick up after themselves. How many of these projects do you see get made, and how many of them actually get maintained afterwards? You'd like to think that the two numbers would be closer together but they're not.
Common sense is not common. Hell, it's considered a superpower in a lot of respects. More than anything, since when has ANY amount of sense ever been common in general population these days?
OH GOD! Where?! Where?! You must show me where you find people like this! And don't tell me outside, because I've already looked there and I don't anyone would know what I'm talking about.
Hell, I'd like to see someone design another programming language with a programming language if that is the case. If you've got something as based off of GUI design as this is, why not right?
So...what happens when you tell them you do not have a Facebook or other social website account?
What if they already searched for you on Facebook, found your account, saw your photos (and as soon as you walked into the room: yes, it's you on these photos).
This is under the assumption you even use your real name for anything you do on FB. I know on my profile, I dont use any REAL identifiable information. Just a bunch of 4chan meme's.
On hindsight however, I am beginning to think that would be worse than just telling them I don't have one.
This. A million times this.
The fact that employers get away with this and the Feds can't really shows that there is something seriously wrong. Coporations can invade us day and night blatantly, but if you're a federal agency you might need to jump through some hoops first. Since when are corporations allowed to go above the law?
You would think AT&T would learn from the response of their customers. But that will never happen at this point. It would seem that a lot of companies want to follow this as well. This is probably going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
I don't think it'd bother us as much if we knew EXACTLY what data they were collecting. Perhaps a policy of some kind when a company is collecting information, they would have to show a sample of what the collected information would look like and how it would be protected. If you think about it, if there is physical proof that your information isn't as identifiable as everyone may think it is, it would probably put a lot of fear at ease. Especially if one knew that the stuff that would make anon data identifiable was missing as a whole.
In some ways, it almost sounds like a sales pitch. They need this pitch to get funding from congress so they can waste more taxpayer money. Oh and MAYBE do something about the situation. More than likely, it will just make things worse.
Unless, in the process of developing 'cyber-weapons', they realize that the best offense is a good defense....Pffffft.
Heh, it'd be funny to just start assaulting all the candidates with every crappy lawsuit one could come up with. I'm not even saying just throw random stuff, but more of watch not only the patent trolls but also DMCA law and all the horrors associated. It'd be a dream to see an entire campaign site get a DMCA takedown notice.
Who knows, if he had actually been right, he probably would have started 'MOICHANDISING!' the type of fridge they they used in the movie to live through the explosion.
Note: This is horribly alien to the Americans who don't have a tax on TV.
No kidding. As someone who has never heard of this, it's really surprising to hear not only the tax, but also the stuff behind it. I really hope someone in the US doesn't get the bright idea to do something along this line to help fight 'childhood obesity' or some other weak excuse.
kinda hard to keep that hamper full if more than a third or so of the states leave. All that would do is put more pressure on the feds to be harder on the remaining states, thus just making the problem worse.
I'll make a wager on the "The government did it on purpose" theory please.

It sounds like a pornstar name or something. Makes you wonder what got her started with journalism.....

The sheer amount of puns in that game could make your head explode. That is what made it so awesome.

Oh god you know what that means! *shares on social media* Problem solved.

Huzzah! For once the politicians are feeling the bite of their badly influenced decisions!
You mean like what it has always been since the beginning?
I wish they gave me one, I totally would love to have a brand new GPS tracker to play with,

Both of which can bring you to a state where you could probably have all sorts of fun if you maintain your consciousness well enough.
