  2. Re:Emergency use on Faster Updates for DNS Root Servers Arrive · · Score: 4, Informative

Wrong way about it. Your DNS records in the [.com .net .org .whatever] domain only point to your NS records. You should have multiple name servers up anyway (peering agreements for DNS are usually pretty easy to get). It is your A records that point to the web server, and the update for that takes place upon your own servers.

Yeah, but all I want my phone to do is store numbers and call numbers. Seriously. I'll get a seperate PDA for the rest of the crap. And no f'ing way I want a camera on there either. If I wanted a camera, I'd get a nice slim digital, or a real SLR camera.

Isn't it crappy that a simple, clean interface that users want is considered a major gamble? To think, shoving crap in our faces we don't want is considered a sure way to win.

A good parallel would be to assume your friend John is a klutz. Falling down a stair case could then be "such a John thing to do."

SanDisk Cruzer Mini has been a rock for me. It's scuffed, carried around unlovingly, dented, and just generaly abused in a way electronic media shouldn't be. Granted, I haven't washed it yet (or sent it through the drier), but I've been very impressed with how it has held up. It's also one of the least expensive and thinest choices. Go figure.
