    The company didn't ask you to do a security audit.

    Not sure if you've been missing out on the past year+ of news, but companies don't really do this.

    I'm sorry they may pay for a security audit, but the au gratis one they just received was far more effective.

    Right but this applies to internal corporate projects as well. No matter the actor who is backing the project they die and are created, it's just a normal life cycle.

    Why bother if no one is interested?

    Not a fan of the expectation of a bailout in the recent years.

    When a project loses interest it dies. That's just how these things go no?

    People aren't using OpenOffice (or there aren't people who are interested in contributing) and are using other suites like LibreOffice.

    Lifecycles happen. Death is part of those.

    RIM is in trouble too, let's get up and help them out as well.

    It's raising awareness of the issues, that's really all I can expect. What people do after they've become aware is the fun part.

    If I was close to where the large areas are I'd be there tearing up my $900/month student loan bills too.

    That's sad that the parents let things get like this, or rather allow the schools treat their children like this.

    Parents need to stand up for their children more when schools get out of line, too many seem to think school districts are an authority. Either that or the parents just don't care.

    So if I'm correctly informed from wikipedia (https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Atmosphere_of_Earth) this is still only in the Stratosphere.
