it's not that big of a deal.. just goes to prove that there are idiots everywhere.. and that some people haven't emotionally grown since elementry school.
the only thing anyone can do is just to try not to do the same thing to anyone else.
I've been trying to move to linux for a few months now.. and I'm slowly getting used to it. I have problems with some of the interface, though.. I also know a lot of people in positions similar to me. I'll read the howto.. and I hope it will help me out.
If it does, wouldn't it be a good idea to include this with any given Linux distribution? The how-to's included with Linux right now are good.. but sometimes they aren't good enough.. and they lack details that I have to spend hours searching for on the net. I honestly doubt that most people are willing to put in as much time as I'm going to.
if in fourteen billion years, the amount of antimatter in the universe has decayed to such a minimal level, then in fourteen billion more years, will the level of regular matter be at a similarily small level?
High encryption used to require a "browse-warp" liscence to acquire, because export restrictions limited the quality of the encryption that was allowed to leave the US.
Since this makes the agreement people were forced to make, to not give the encryption software to anyone outside of the US, invalid, does this mean that the companies releasing the encryption software were not dilligent in preventing the encryption software from being released to countries outside the US, and are thus guilty of violating the export restriction?
How long until safeway starts bragging about its 300Gb of data collected by its club cards?
Reading things like this scare the shit out of me.. mostly because I know that if one company is admitting to something, another company has probably done ten times worse.
With cable quickly becoming the broadband of choice.. why would people need this?
I can understand if you live in a rural area.. but satellite competition, which is also eyeing rural areas, would more that likely make this an unprofitable endevour.
It's a good technology, but, unfortunately, it won't have a large market.
maybe the fact that 2000 year old digital technology doesn't exist..
i'm pretty sure that if you stored a book in.txt format, that in a thousand years we'd be able to open it up again..
even if the.txt format is dead.. we'd be able to figure out what it originally meant by decoding it.. it'd be the equivlent to finding an old book in a long-dead language..
I regularly change email accounts, because spammers get ahold of my email address, and spam it over and over again. After a few months, even if i attempt to block people out, i get more spam than email.
After a couple years, this email addie would be so laden with spam, that people would quit checking it, and move on.
should we call the people who do the darwin awards, or do you think they'll find out about this on their own?
why do i get the feeling that this guy has overclocked his pentium II to run quicker than my brand new athlon?

you are in the US.. a country in which corporations gained legal personhood BEFORE Blacks, poor Whites, and Natives
if adobe can't find a way to use the DCMA to quash the protests, they'll buy some new law that will give them a way..

Does anyone have any numbers/statistics on Linux use in Japan?

(yet somehow they'll still have a better service than AOL)
Oh, they'd hand them out all right.. they just wouldn't include the licence to install it.

Would you have to pull over to a rest stop, because your car couldn't hold it?
