    That's not even close... it would be more like a bank robber was caught on a fuzzy low quality camera and he had brown hair and eyes, average height and build, and was wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt.

    There are all kinds of malicious software that sets up botnets and can act as a proxy, not all of them are detected by AV software some of them actually attack AV software not to mention all the other ways that can work. If you think an IP address is that hard to trick or spoof you are reading the wrong site.

    You forgot that not only do people setup unsecured wifi... there's an app for that. The skill level required is can you search for an app and install it, but that's not as likely as a trojan that turns your pc or router into a proxy.

    They do donate to programs that benefit the local economy like school sports and baseball leagues and often ignore other aspects of local education. It may not be an entire stadium but it's enough to make things like that a worthwhile investment.

    My step father owned a couple local businesses he co-sponsored all the baseball, pewee, and t-ball leagues with other local businesses because 300+ spectators out an about once a week in a small town is a lot of business for a town with one restaurant and one gas station.

    I lived in a lot of small mid-west towns the schools would frequently get new sports equipment, etc.. when the budget was in the red. It was because local businesses donated directly to the local sports programs... community participation in those programs brings in business for them.

    Managed Encrypted local storage. A good policy editor and the ability to remotely manage policies, updates, installed software. Actual software that can be installed locally and function off line. A bunch of the most used and common office software.

    Sometimes when I get to the end of a movie I feel like the plot didn't develop then was cut short or that there was information inferred but never related leaving a hole. Three hour movies like the postman or braveheart are just too long although I still liked them, they may have been better broken up into multiple episodes maybe like a trilogy.

    When you cut out the commercials, opening, and closing credits on a tv episode you have already cut out the majority of filler and nearly half the run time.

    Even a 30 minute TV show episode ends up being 15 or 16 minutes after you cut out the commercials and the opening and closing credits.

    I don't watch in fast forward I just skip the intros, credits, commercials and keep half my time.

    That's the point the app store is essentially a trusted source at least as far as the average user is concerned and an application disguising something as an update to that application would still be appear to be an update.

    If I open an application on any operating system and it says would you like to check for an update and then what ever operating system prompt comes up when I attempt to install said update it still looks like an update.

    No, however most states seize assets but only after your proven guilty so I'm imagining some good samaritan traveling from another state standing on the side of the highway with trooper that's been knee capped waiting for cop to show up because he thought they were impersonating an officer and trying to rob them.

    Well if you search it a little you will find that Uniloc is a security and copy protection software company and that the patent they are claiming is a for a copy protection system to valid application license which they may totally have a real claim depending on whether the patent is valid but it should still be against google because it a google service the companies they are suing are using for license validation.

    We have seen this before with the printer scam, they were suing small companies that owned certain printers for infringing patents dealing with printers but not the manufacture. Now they have a patent that describes a service and again they are going after the business consumer and not the provider, it is a scam and should be treated as such.
