  1. Re:Who would use this? on Microsoft to Support Linux in Virtual Server · · Score: 1

I'm an adjunct instructor who teaches Linux for a local votech/technology center. Our classrooms are used for instruction on a variety of software. We use Virtual Server when the Linux class runs so that we don't mess up the other classes software and settings. Works out great. (OK, alittle slow unless you have stout hardware)

    Yeppers I love mine.

    I'm using the following hardware/Software

    AMD 1.2ghz Duron
    512mb PC133
    WinTV 401 card
    Leaktek "Deluxe" TV Card
    (dual tuners baby)
X10 MP3 Anywhere RF remote (works great with LIRC CVS)
    60gb HDD

The next thing to do is get a XBOX front end. Several of the mailing list members have had great results with this.

Yea... I've tried both Palm and PocketPC. I sold both after a year of trying to get them to do what I wanted. I must say that the Palm is better suited for quick access to your info. After awhile I wanted to get a pda again to keep contacts and serial numbers and was leaning to getting another palm until I found the Osaris 8mb PDA Which runs the EPOC os and I LOVE IT. Its alittle bigger than a pda but for $50.00 who cares.
