I think your son will be really gratefull for that.
A bunch of aliens is hanging around mars, looking for a fight or something. They come across a capsule, open it, find a bunch of names and think: Hmm, yes. let's go kill those people.
I've encoded a bunch of queen numbers at 320kbps, because anything less doesn't do justice to freddies voice (I'm talking about things like 'prophets song' and 'exercises in free love').
No, not really. The whole lucid emacs vs 'normal emacs' thing hasn't stopped me from using emacs. (Mind you, some other factors have;-) ). If people want to judge the quality of software by the arguments its creators make, their problem.
Ok, Here's (possibly) the first problem to be posted with output:

Yes, sendmail config is difficult. But is that a problem? CLI's have a steep learning curve too... And that's what makes them so powerful. Idem for sendmail.cf. And just like with CLI's there's an easy option (called the GUI), there's the m4 file for sendmail. What's the big problem?
The arbitrary code thing shouldn't be a problem, sourceforge already gives you a shell account iirc, and you can get shell accounts at lot's of places nowadays.
As for the root thingy... BSD has jail()... As for linux I'm not sure, chroot is not root-resistant.
How about paying some people to do the stuff we don't like to do? Like documentation, and maybe even user interfaces, though I'm quite happy with the current UI's in the OS world.
Yup, that would qualify nicely. As long as you only take the one page, and not the entire thing with rants/about me section. It just depends on your definition of 'site'. (Mind you, there's still a high content/size ratio).

Heck, why not just have a piece of software click the I agree button? It's just an installer, you didn't agree to anything ;-)
Ok, here's my link: cphack.exe
Oops, the formatting is fsckd up. my apologies.

Have I missed something, or is jk just forgetting to check his facts again? AFAIK, jj was arrested, but not jailed....
Not only that, but there's also an ST:TNG ep about that.. ;-)

Ghostview works too...
thnx. Well, I've got it running! No dual monitor working yet though :-( (Banshee & Diamond Stealth II).
The fonts look a lot better in netscape anyway!

Yes, the error rate is high. But why have they only sampled 50 sites? It seems a too small number to get an accurate estimate.
You've never used mod_rewrite, have you?
:grins.
It's not borked! That is what extrans is SUPPOSED to be. It was borked before.
What do you use the other bits for? 2^32 is 4G in my book.
To quote /usr/games/fortune (and that quotes somebody I can't remember): "the only intuitive interface is the nipple, after that it's all learned."

Hmm, same here... Has the wait for SMP mobo's been so long with all new CPU's?
Is this either a troll, ironic sarcasm, or a very twisted individual.
I think the word you are looking for is 'insightful'.

Don't worry, all the other one-celled organisms DID get it.
Dang, my ISPs newsserver doesn't carry that..
Am I the only one thinking we'll be seeing the BiAthlon and TriAthlon just like the P2 and P3 came along?
:-(
Possible, but personally I'm hoping they'll call the dual athlon a biathlon etc. Not much chance of a pentathlon that way though
