Actually, in support of Evolution in the Bible, it is stated that a day to god is like a thousand years to man. Which should be anyone's hint that atleast the creation story is not literal...
The guy had tased a guy who, while being a jerk, wasn't doing anything wrong. I could be next. Despite the fact that I could probably sue the school, the police officer involved and everyone else involved, getting tased does not sound like fun.
Sure there's lots of sequels there, but seeing as how I'm just a plebian and couldn't make it to E3, I can't get excited about titles on a new system that I have had no experience with period.
If this were a case where I could re-download and unlimited number of times, and authorize as many times as I want, I'd be less skeptical of downloadable services.
Reliability. I *could* download the entire White Album from iTunes, or some other provider, but when my hdd dies and it doesn't happen to be on my ipod in it's entirety, guess what? I'm out 1 overhyped Beatles Album. Now apply that to digital video, and you're in the same situation.
In fact, the fact that bluray discs are virtually indestructable add to that... Besides, while optical media does rot, if I drop it on the floor in it's packaging, it's probably not going to crash right then and there. Unlike the hard disk inside my PC.
J-staff was the 2nd mix ending tune that was a powerballad style guitar/drum piece. So no, it's not all J-Pop.
Actually, a very tiny relative percentage of it is "bubblegum JPop." Most of it is rock/blues derived music. The lack of any sort of Blues, Soul, or funk is a HUGE turn off with Guitar Hero. Guitar Freaks has a real variety in it's music, even if most of it is songs by Konami's music artists and the other part being covers.
As a former Lik-Sang customer, I think Lik-Sang owes me the explanation why I can't give them money anymore.
While I will be still purchasing sony equipment(it's virtually unavoidable, Sony manufactures everything, i ouwldn't be surprised if we find a time machine from the year 2854 with the Sony logo on it crashed somewhere), I'm still incredibly upset that they would chose to do this rather than lose a few sales to people who were diligent enough to import and not have to wait to get their consumer goods. The reason why I'm not boycotting Sony is that they're just consumer goods and should I actually need something that sony might have to make for business or other imporant reasons, I don't want to boycott them over what amounts to luxuries. While the root kit issue might have been a big deal, it's still a matter of luxury.
Actually, there's no confirmation whether or not Sony's losing thier pants on the ps3...
But still, Sony Computer Ent. Europe does lose money, even if Sony Computer Ent Japan doesn't. Mostly because they track their sales and revunue seperately from each other.
Oh, I agree, it's stupid, but i'm just pointing out the logic of why it's both true and it's stupid.

Yes, that was a joke.
But I had the thought.
Will it run Mac OS X?
MGS4.
Virtua Fighter 5.
Tekken 6.
GTHD.

No goddamn way is HDDVD or BluRay dead.

Or an Amiga. ;)
was WMWorld itself a tradeshow or was it a tradeshow virtualized within another one?
stupid slashdot not having an edit system
I meant to say, there was no US release of the Arcade game. Even if there was...
Guitar Freaks first mix came out in Arcades, had no PS release, and even if it did, it'd have been before Americans at large discovered music games.
I'll take J-Staff over Sharp Dressed Man.

Showing up on Wait, Wait, Don't Tell me is hardly the right thing. ;)
ps2 required active cooling too. So does the GameCube. Neither could probably cook and egg, but I'm guessing the ps3 will.
It is a benchmark of how hot console CPUs are getting. It was unimaginable to think that a playstation or a SNES would be able to fry an egg... But...
and the internet is a way to make sure that people actually ARE honest.
Macaca is a french word used to describe black people and others of non white heritage in north africa.
Guess what? George Allen's mom is from North Africa.
if sitting down to watch a mediocre sci fi show is a requirement for a lame 2 hour movie after paying 8 bucks...
Fuck Joss Whedon
Sony batteries, the Floppy drive, monitors, speakers, ICs(hint: the most compatable RGB->NTSC encoder chip is made by Sony)...

no
The original poster is quite right.
Having a grand to blow on a new Proc means you DO have more money than sense. It just means that value is really big.

never mind.
In constant dollars, the NES would've cost as much as a PS3
Happy? It didn't even have BluRay!
Over priced? not likely. It's the same price as an xbox360 + HDDVD Unit.
no, it didn't.
The Net Yaroze had a Parallel port connection that let you code, compile, link and download software to the unit.
