Jeez, and people thought the political system now had two parties that seemed alike...
I know you're a troll, but i've already replied, so I'll bite.
The idea of social safety nets and social programs aren't to encourage lazy people. Quite the opposite in fact. The idea behind a Government program to say, fund higher education through Pell Grants, is to make sure that people aren't stuck working for minimum wage(a great liberal idea).
Yes, it may be synonymous with instinct, but the word "instinct" while having quite a bit of gravitas on it's own, doesn't have the same kind of gravitas as say, truthiness.
yeah, that's probably why this guy had several other people quote him the same price before this call.
I feel for the guy because not once, but five times he got hosed by some monkey with no brains.
This happens all the time in call center work. I don't know why either. The litigation liability can't be THAT low that they can just get any idiot on the phone and not worry about getting sued for misrepresenting product...
Well yeah, but if you're not tied down to mandatory meetings or other garbage, collaborating will be easier. Collaboration in more structured environments is difficult too. But since you can work practically "whenever," as counter intuitative as this may seem, it should be easier to get together.
That's kind of the way things should be, although if the strategy fails, it really should be his responsibility to whip everyone back into line.

With polygon numbers going up and not stoping and games becoming incredibly more detailed and sounding better... If DVD isn't obsolete, it will be within the current generation of consoles.
I just got done finishing CS homework and the answer came in my mind as:

DVD is obsolete.
9 Gigs is hardly any space for modern games. Blue Dragon for the 360 ships in Japan as a 3 DVD set. DVD meant nomore multi-disc CD games, and BluRay and HDDVD should do the same for DVD.
After seeing the headlines, I popped "talk.origins" into my Google search bar and got "trueorigin.org." Which claims to "Expose the myth of Evolution."
Make cubicles bigger and more comfortable. If it's somewhere you're willing to spend 5-8 hours a day, it's a place you're willing to work. Work space is no place to start getting spartan.
The only reason why I advocate FOR the cubicle is because I work in an open office environment. I have absolutely no privacy what so ever. Being productive means being productive while someone's not watching and occasionally slacking off.
Did not Bill Nye get in trouble with a bunch of bible thumpers for citing that Genesis was wrong scientifically when it came to the Greater and Lesser lights?:)
republicans and libertarians?

Verizon can't find it's own ass with two hands, a flashlight, a map, GPS, a sherpa, long range scanners and an ass finding radar.
I sure hope so.
everyone's favorite consumer good sucks.
just like firefly did.

WHAT THE FUCK.
You're making the case to stop public school administrators.
The idea that everyone should have a baseline education isn't absurd, and it does work.
It's public school administration that always seems to be the problem. not the concept of public schooling themselves.
Wait, wait, the PS3 DOES NOT have 1080p output?
i never knew barney was "The Merch."
Yeah but the NeoGeo survived until 2004. The last release was Samurai Showdown 5 Special.
No RPG either.
I want to be able to engage in FPS style warfare with 4 other guys in a marine squad.
what was wrong with launching with Magician Lord, Baseball Stars and Nam-1975?!
Philistines.
Any tech support monkey knows that for the simplest tech task, users will be frightened by it and come up with scary names for it.
If it seems scary, even if it isn't, it's a huge turn off for the average consumer.
Given Windows' instability, I'm not sure if this shows how paranoid the consumer now is, or how broken windows is.
And looking at the support page, there's FOUR apps that have to be uninstalled at the most if the Zune installer fails...
Lordy.
I completely disagree.
I have a 2 gig Nano.
I have some 40 gigs of "mp3" sound files(non-music) iTunes decided needed to be in my library.
Syncing my iPod means hearing mp3 recordings of some grunt from some game dying every 2 tracks.
You forgot the funniest movie of the decade.
Borat.
Final Fantasy XII.
Its' 110+ hours. If I'm not sick of gaming after that, I'll never get sick of games
that'll be fine until Direct X 12 or 13 when MS requires you to upgrade to Vista.
The problem is small, enclosed spaces.
