    I do not have a cell phone because i do not agree with their stupid contracts terms. If you do not agree with the terms of the contracts from cell providers just don't subscribe. If anybody read the contract and think about what it says for one second they would not sign it.

    Well one would hope that Linux would have evolved in 30 years. Maybe not one line of code from now will still be in it, maybe be it will no be written in C anymore, maybe the kernel version is going to be 2.8 (more likely 2.6.5665454871125114-rc89) but it could well be still around.

    Even if it's the reference implementation it could be badly implemented. I am sure the specification does not call for a memory leak. You are wrong, I am right, get over it :)

    Fixed it for you. A video file does not leak memory nor does a codec specification. The implementation (VLC in that case) is the problem. But I did not read the Theora specification, maybe it says "After the frame is rendered allocate some memory and never free it", who know?

    Linux Can read an write NTFS.
    And there is an open source ext2 driver for Windows, used it long ago probably supports journaling now (ext3).

    And i forgot because i do not use it, but in Ubuntu there is an "Install applications" somewhere in the menu which is another front end for apt. Way more simpler than synaptic and way more simpler than anything else i saw on any OS for the non-technical people.

    You make no sense. They would have to chose their player anyway. Synaptic is not harder than google to use just search for video player ans install any of them. How is this any harder than on a Mac? It even downloads it for you.
