Yes, but the FSGS server hasn't been updated in months, which leads to several Blizzard titles simply refusing to work due to new patches.

Maybe they'll release a new version soon...

Only the newer version of Code Red uses non-blocking socket connections, which means that waiting will still slow down the spread of the older variant of code red.

Correct me If I'm wrong ( and I know someone will) but, I think the only Code Red version that uses non-blocking sockets is the 'B' variant of version 2.

Great, you're making a sound on the newer Code Red variant... What about the old one? I'm still getting about a 4:1 ratio of original code red to anything else... If you don't have a web-server running, but STILL want to log Code Red, use websnarf... A perl implementation to log attempts to access port 80 [ or whatever port you want I guess... ] http://www.unixwiz.net/tools/websnarf.html Yes, it runs under ActivePerl too...

  9. Re:Cameras in schools on Sean In The Middle · · Score: 1

Hidden Cameras? Who needs hidden cameras? Parents have been shown video tape recordings of their children from the school bus, and even from blatently visible cameras, and still won't believe that the children are misbehaving 90% of the time. Cameras don't stop the minor bullying, they only stop the major infractions, which are then VERY easy to prove... And plus, there's always a blind spot or two lying around.

  10. MP3 Distribution on Several Boycotts Of RIAA Organizing · · Score: 1

The concept of Napster, being a file sharing program for only MP3s was okay in itself, but the program could have still used improvement. Anyone who's ever used IRC, and seen the barrage of MP3s available on IRC can tell you that. A good percentage of MP3 playing scripts for mIRC for example, carry triggers to send you the currently playing MP3. Now, I've seen the BSA go after the warez channels on IRC, but haven't heard much about the BSA or anyone else trying to deal with MP3 channels on irc.

I don't know the last time I saw a movie rated "R" by the theatres. Nobody cares as far as I'm concerned. Yes, we do have the one or two souls crying "But, Think of the children!", but, oh well...
