OK, now I know you're just making shit up to justify your world view.

(3) This is debatable but there's numerous studies indicating that healthy workers contribute to a more robust economy. See: https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/n...
The US both spends more on public single-payer health insurance and more on public retirement plans
I didn't mention retirement plans, but we spend more on medicare per capita than other countries because we only cover old people. Working poor need healthcare too, and my point was that it would benefit the economy as opposed to "make everyone poorer in the long run".
Yeah it sounds like the campaign for every politician in every election that's ever occurred. That's like saying: Hitler had a mustache, sound familiar?
What if they take from high income earners and instead of just handing cash to the poor they invest in public education, health care, transportation etc. Would that also make everyone poorer in the long run?
It's hard not to think it these days. Before the latest update Rocket League would increase my GPU fan speed to max *only* when sitting idle in some menu where nothing was really being rendered. Kind of suspicious.
You're seeing the glass half empty. What someone really said was "what this phone needs is more display where this empty part of the bezel is". They can't fill the whole bezel so they just fill what they can. If they didn't have the notch you'd just get less screen.
You're basically giving credit to Microsoft for having most manufacturers support Windows. It's arbitrary. True you can't install linux on hardware or use it with hardware that wasn't made for it and expect things to go perfectly smooth. Most PCs come with Windows because that's what the manufacturer tested it with and they submit drivers to Microsoft's database. There are actually companies that sell hardware for linux pre-loaded with linux. Those will work out of the box and updates will generally not break them (not that Windows is impervious to update breakage). If you want to attach a printer or sound card then you have to make sure the manufacturer didn't intend it to be used exclusively with Windows (same thing for mac users).
I regularly try other search engines and none has come close to Google's breadth and coverage by a very long shot.
In short, this fine is just absurd and I'm not sure what is that the EU really wants from Google. Money?
They want to fix your first assertion. This is similar to the anti-trust case against Microsoft bundling internet explorer in Windows. It's not about Android OS competition. It's about search.
For an extra $5000, you can get the optional autopilot that can drive you into bridges, police cars and fire engines if you have trouble managing that on your own. To my knowledge, there's no attermarket kit for the Camry that'll do that available at any price.
I don't think they failed. They just had different objectives at the time than you would have liked (with 20/20 hindsight). The exploits you mention are based on taking advantage of circuits that were designed for increased performance. If the memory card was more robust to electric field attacks it would have to use redundant or shielded or more spaced out cells (less memory per area) or a stronger supply voltage (more power). You could probably find a way to trade off speed for robustness as well. When you go to buy SD cards do you not shop for the cheapest, fastest, highest capacity one you can find?
$5 per year doesn't actually seem that high, especially if you consider that multiple separate advertisers are probably paying for the same information. Ever done a survey for a free cookie or something? That's like 20 cents they're paying each individual for a few survey questions. Compare that paltry data to what Instagram has on some people.
I think you're forgetting about thread performance. Unless you can fully utilize 16 cores (gamers and casual desktop users generally can't), the 8086 actually performs better than AMD's replacement.
Are you trying to compare doctor-patient confidentiality with giving information to facebook? Who says they weren't supposed to share the the data? Facebook sure as shit didn't.
OK, now I know you're just making shit up to justify your world view.

That's because the US doesn't pay for those things.

So how many bitcoins do I need to buy a frap?
Zoomed out the globe, there were no clouds. It's pretty cloudy and rainy over me right now.
Doesn't work for me. I don't see any clouds at all in satellite view.

How is the display useless? Usually they put the status bar in the notch area which gives you more space for app usage.

place a tax
later used to pay for healthcare
If only the government could execute on that instead of just lowering taxes elsewhere.

remove regulations that prevent unqualified people from doing the work ... Really hard to give a flying fuck.
What?

No I think you're missing the context. The "demo" that was mentioned is a strawman. The OP is about AMD replacing CPUs in an 8086 giveaway.
they have squat to compete with

Oh the irony.
How does re-opening the case publicly have any effect on when they can close it again?
The US isn't a democracy, it's a republic. The electoral college failed us.

spoiler alert?
