You're an idiot, he didn't really think it was battleship. Every comment I read from somebody who thinks he really thought it was battleship makes me want to punch somebody. He thought it was random bullshit, thats what makes his response a joke and not a conversation. Has Kevin Butler ever said anything (except maybe at E3) that wasn't a joke? Shut up.
Buy a 360. They're just plain better in terms of user experience and online capability (which you do pay a premium for but come on, its $12/month). I have 2 Wiis, 3 360s and one PS3 in my house and the PS3 never gets used unless I've rented a blu-ray disc. On the other hand, my 360s are usually all on, with 2 serving as media devices most of the time and one a primary game console. The Wiis never see any action either really.
What proof is Microsoft supposed to offer? "Here's a look at how our search engine works, see, no cheating!" is just not going to work because A: that information is proprietary and very, very important to maintaining good search results, B: Nobody would understand it, and C: Even if they did that, what would that prove? All they can say is "there was click data supporting it". You either believe it or you don't. Saying "There was click data supporting it, here's the click data" means nothing, as all they've done is taken a little more time to fabricate some data if you want to not believe them, or you already would have believed them from a simple denial.

HTML supertags is stupid. Its so stupid I can't believe they allow you to post on slashdot without constant ridicule. Are you fucking serious with that or is that a joke I'm missing?
"Use supertags! They're just like span or div but you can name them yourself and they won't work reliably!"
Everybody talks about how big of a pain in the ass IPv6 is going to be to deploy, but I'm pretty sure I've had a public IPv6 address and private IPv6 addresses for over a year. Doesn't seem like a problem for me, except I'll have to learn the new equivalent of 127.0.0.1. Be honest, is this all another Y2K where everything is just going to be smooth and a bunch of idiots that aren't talented enough to do the work but smart enough to know there is some kind of an issue are going to scream about the sky falling?

Yes. Next question?
