    Aside from all the nonsense this election cycle, the sentiment in the world is the same among working-class people in the west - that the political elites have abandoned them. They are angry about immigration depressing wages, and they are angry about globalism wiping out jobs altogether.

    These two things have been ignored by politicians for so long now, that people angry enough to elect idiots like Johnson and Trump in order to effect change.

    They've made their own bed.

    I'm not an Apple fanboi or anything, but I'm pretty sure that there are not a bevy of apps in the App Store that can contain malware which can root 90% of iPhones.

    Say what you will about the virtues of Android and iOS, that's just silly.

    All you hear from the left is "take away freedom A" and all you hear from the right is "take away freedom B".

    All the while, the government had all the information they needed to act on this, they just governmented the whole thing up.

    The Congresscritter in question seems to think if one test is OK, then any test anywhere anytime is OK.

    It's a bit like saying if the police are ever within their rights to ticket a parked car, then maybe they should just ticket every parked car they see so that it's all fair and equal.

    Aside from a few Sheldon Coopers out there who would be shut-ins without social media, most people do not want to be tracked by GPS by a company which exists to sell information about them to advertisers.

    This is it for me and the FB mobile app, I have just deleted it and will not be reinstalling it.

    When I click on a link for a news story or some other item which seems interesting and it turns out to be a video, I click the back button instantly.

    Video is a stupid medium for this. It's a devolution. People started getting their news -for example- online, because you get what you want instantly, you don't have to sit through a long broadcast to find the items you're interested in.

    The point of digital media is supposed to be instant quick access. Not to mention how annoying video is and how it's rare that any video in your FB timeline is something you actually want to see.

    Better Call Saul is a lot more interesting and innovative than Breaking Bad was, even though BCS is storytelling with one hand behind its back - that is, that you already know what the fate of several of the major characters is.

    What's more baffling is that so many people are still following a repetitive show that ran out of ideas around the end of season 2
