I'm good with the story so far because I don't expect rank and file police to be constitutional lawers. My hope is this action removes the fog and recording police is legal everywhere and that the police understand it, too. And if it's civil disobedience to record an abuse by the police, then so be it and we should still do it.

What's the deal with Slashdot still using that Bill Gates Borg icon to represent Microsoft? That icon is so dated on both levels these days. Bill Gates hasn't worked at Microsoft in years, and the Borg reference just is no longer current or relevant. Anyone under 25 would hardly get the references.

How wide a screen appears to you depends on how far you are from it. Bigger isn't necessarily better. Also, my sound system is quite old and consumer quality but 6.1. I can rattle the dishes in the kitchen if properly motivated. Everything is tuned to my preference, as opposed to Toy Story 3 in the theatre which was so loud we had to move back. I think it also rattled the dishes in my kitchen across town. More powerful isn't necessarily better, either.
Back in the day when I was a projectionist, the lenses heated up and required refocusing a few times during the movie. If the beginning is in focus and rest not, the projectionist started the show, focused (or not), and never came back.
Nuclear energy is quite cheap once the plant is up and running they can be run indefinitely with proper maintenance.
Fukushima Dai-ichi's energy was cheap until 3/11/2011 and it was properly maintained as much as any of them. Also, the Titanic was a great ship that provided excellent transportation until halfway across the Atlantic.
